I've thoroughly enjoyed playing this, but there's a few things I've learned that I feel should be shared. 1) The difficulty curve gets pretty steep during the second map route. Took me a LOT of tries to beat the World 2 end boss level. 2) Flying enemies flat out *IGNORE* roadblocks! They are DANGEROUS! And some flying jerkwads can either cast illusions to show them in a different spot (focus on their shadows, that's their real location) or can flat out go freaking *_INVISIBLE_* to break your sanity. 3) Trap combos are your best friend no matter which of the three "heroes" you play as. Oil floors make fire burn longer and deal more damage. Three stacks of frost cause both a slow movement and a lingering DOT. Laceration floors deal 5x damage if enemies are pushed/pulled across them, and comboing springboards (both floor and wall variants) and hook traps with lacerations are devastating, especially if you aim to drop enemies into the pits. And 4) Your special abilities (such as the arrow rain we see here) are absolutely CRUCIAL in later stages, and can only be upgraded either through some random events (the scrolls) or at the churches. In one run I did, I had the arrow rain upgraded to where it was dealing 1300 damage to every enemy it hit, had only a 30 second cooldown, and could hit a 3x3 area. In some cases, this was the only way I could hit some flying enemies who had found their way to a path I'd not had defended enough. Still, even with these things, I'm absolutely _loving_ this game. Nicole is my favorite to play as, mostly because I love having a ton of elementals on the field just hammering away at the mobs. When I do play as Seth (the default starting hero) I love abusing the pits and the various ways to push/pull enemies into them. As for the third hero (whose name I forget at the moment) you can play as, while he's got a theme of calling in minions left, right, and center, I haven't played as him enough to get a feel for how he works in the long run. It's on my to-do list, though, so in time I'll figure out my preferred method with him, too.

Fun fact: The impetus floor has a meaning. 'Impetus' is Latin for 'inpatient', so literally 'impatient floor'. That makes sense because it makes your traps more efficient, meaning it takes less time to clear waves. Really great if you're impatient.

Intern: "So if we place this before the fire trap, will they be covered in oil and then lit on fire?" Me: Now *that* sounds like something I'd do. 😈
