As Salaamu Alaykum! As an AFRICAN-Black American/ OLDER / Female & BEEN THROUGH a lot ALL My LIFE , , I DO NOT BEND! ONCE in 1986 , I Flipped Flopped, NEVER AGAIN ! Been Muslim for 41 years ; Now 71 ! ! Raised by STRONG Christian PARENTS & Relatives in Detroit , MI. and , they NEVER SHOWED any Fear to white people/Cops /Thugs , etc.....! So I STAY the SAME ! JOB interviews ,I Cover and TELL THEM , “ PRAY /COVER /NOT INVOLVED in Alcohol & UnHoly Days ! Hire me or NOT “! Some parts of Philly , Detroit , CHICAGO , L.A. , WAS /IS CRAZY & Dangerous ! By the WAY, Corners in the 50’s & 60’s were LOOK OUT by Responsible Youth & a few ADULT Males WATCHING for CRIMINALS & Bad Cops! We CALLED them BLOCK CLUBS !’ I REJECTED Christianity/Judaism/ Bhuddism, etc..... by 9 years Old ,after LOTS of Questions AT THEIR Places of Worship in Detroit!
