I feel like the battle would've gone about the same if they didn't include it as I believe the stretch was only used once and that was when pink stretched out their hand after the explosion, don't believe we saw any of the crewmates stretch either, but I digress. I suppose if Mediatonic said that the fall guy could stretch that far rather than make it an engagement thing then I could kind of see it, but yeah, they def pushed that rule to its limit. @@Izzytorium I feel they included tweets like that in the video for the simple fact that… it’s funny. As you acknowledged, this is a Meme Episode. Regardless, they don’t necessarily have to be able to stretch in-game to just have the ability. On the same coin, Imposters have never been able to shoot a planet-shattering laser in the actual Among Us game, yet they included it anyway.

You helped out with animation? nah that's freaking awesome, if you can or don't mind could you specify what scenes you helped out in? I noticed a few more references like the crown constellation in the space scene which is based on the one fall guys celebration. The danganronpa reference when Cyan's blood spilled on the wall and also the JoJo reference with red standing on the plinth with the crown during pink's imagination. Didn't mention them in the video as I may make another one going into detail about references. Either way thank you for your efforts and contributions Larry, this was truly incredible!

Death Battle makes a hell of a spectacle out of their matchups, though my favorite part about Death Battle (especially through seasons 9-present) is that they always make sure to remind us why we fell in love with the characters they cover in the first place. I'd definitely recommend checking out some of their other matches, though if you're looking for their best episodes, general consensus points to "Bill Cipher vs. Discord", "Scooby-Doo vs. Courage", "Saitama vs. Popeye" and, most recently, "Bowser vs. Eggman".

5:48 In the early years they pretty much just dropped two characters into a setting, and just said “Fight” But as of recent Seasons, there’s actually a bit more of a narrative they put the combatants in, making the Fight feel more like a Short Film. It’s actually pretty cool. Like it makes you legitimately want to root for certain characters. Like in this one, they didn’t just have the Fall Guys want to kill the Crewmates just because, it was more-so about getting the Crown, and the others are just…IN THE WAY. It had more of a concrete goal than just the characters killing each other for nothing.

I feel death battle has really found their groove in recent years (season 8 to now) Despite going fuly indie for this new season, they havent lost their momentum and its great to see how far theyve come. The love and support the fanbase gave them when they went independent was amazing to see

This battle had no reason to be so fun, butbthey did it anyway. I feel the mvp was rhe impostor, not because of kill counts or feats, but just because it was so perfectly animated. That scene of it chasing after Pink was spectacular. Also appreciate how the whole battle escalates in absurdity, but then it backs down and ends with the two just... doing their thing. A bean chasing a crown, and a bean chasing a kill. Poetic stuff
