🌟Looking forward to see it because of BaiLu, but🌟 To be honest 😌, Chinese drama production is over saturated with: immortals, demons and fairies . 🌟 Is a human craving for immortality and desire to escape reality spurring all that type of dramas 😜.

@ Over simplified comment, the very good ancient or costume drama are based on quasi historical stories and do not have demons ( why not call them a bad guys) and immortals ( why not call them a good guys). In every society you have a good and bad guys, in addition there are numerous people that just want to survive. The demons and immortals are to much in opposition to each others and only outcome is the extermination ( genocide ) that is wrong and in opposite of Confucian and Taoism teachings

Looking forward to see it, because of BaiLu, she is a great actress 🌟. But to be honest the genre with ; demons, immortals and fearry are not my favourite. I prefer very good ancient or costume drama that are based on quasi historical stories and do not have demons ( why not call them a bad guys) and immortals ( why not call them a good guys). In every society you have a good and bad guys, most of people are just normal that want to survive day to day The demons and immortals are to much in opposition to each others and only outcome is the extermination (genocide). That is totally wrong and immoral . Demonizing one society against another, has led to great injustice in history. Philosophical question is, what is right and what is wrong? Each society has their own norms, people that don’t behave as us or believe in different norms should be never demonized.
