As a child of two advocates, I say it works because most polices are afraid of the power they hold due to corruption. Usually, if they are true then they follow the rules , but corrupted ones leave them be. Once my mom went to the police to do a GD and she said that that my father was her husband. They were literally harrassing her and did not let her file the GD. Later on, as my father was also a chief public prosecutor, there was case where he had to sign , else the officer wouldn't be able to join his job. He brought a cup of tea and smiled and the officer was extremely panicking because of the shit he had done. So the reason is that most people are scared af the power advocates hold if they are correct and true to themselves.

Uh guys see I'll do tell how it helped 1 time. I was travelling with someone whose a doctor and we were going on a messed up road . There happened to be a landslide and our car was 5 km away from the accident area. Just because of that 1 sticker the police which tried their best to get an ambulance there which would take like 1 hour to reach the area saw that sticker on the car and moved the traffic apart and we drove to that site and saved a life. In my opinion these Police, Doctor , any sort of professions which are for human welfare should be allowed to be out on vehicles

*My dad is an advocate and it's a old story of him which I witnessed in childhood, we were travelling around the Indra gandhi Airport and on the barricade, one police officer stopped my dad because dad had a little beer and was driving and was tested positive for drunk and drive officer asked him to pay fine it wasn't a big deal to fill it up but as you all know "indian me tora kisa nai pasand" Dad called up 1000s of his law friend including politicians and Jamed the national highway 😂 like I was so amazed cause it's was so swaggy moment all law official dressed in black and white and those black cars, including the expensive once and this was covered in news also back then 13 year's old memories. I know it's a little over but I witnessed all this in front of my own eyes and can confirm dad was looking like a mafia who was just trying to show his power. Just think of that moment, people wearing all black jamming the national highway airplane passing over heads and dad's standing in front saying do whatever you can do. Love your attitude dad miss those days when you were a young stud personality obviously never harmed anyone instead helped a lot of them. *
