Administrative Law

Quo warranto does not mean by what authority a person is occupying a position but rather by what authority a a particular act or direction has been given...for e.g. if u are resident of Delhi then mumbai muncipal corporation cannot ask you to follow its direction the correct authority in this case will be Delhi mun.corp. and der4 u can question quo warranto here
