Making connect 4 is really fun. You climb up a ladder to place a concrete powder when it's your turn, and then when someone wins, you press a button to drop it onto slabs. You could improve this, of course. You could make a piston-slime launcher to launch the concrete powder to the top.

One of my friends had their birthday one year, but we lived a few hours away, so I couldn't get them anything. Instead, I made a Connect 4 game using redstone, and I also traveled ~ 4,000 blocks to get some Dark Oak saplings (we hadn't been able to find some ANYWHERE near home). Simpler times, man.

@MrFiveHimself Жыл бұрын
Gotta say, the clock is clever. It could definitely be optimized though. Personally, i would have used a piston feedtape worm to hold more complex designs giving your clock more than 8 different positions. An example of a good piston feedtape worm that works in this context would be squibbles letter display. All you would need to do is swap out his letters for clock symbols, replace the manual selection with a timer, and some extra tweaks to get the size right. 👍
@_gerg Жыл бұрын
The clock was actually somewhat inspired by squibbles video. Your idea might be possible but it would be huge surely taking up the whole tower. Also there is an etho clock hocked up, it just has a manual trigger for demonstration

@TheEmbrs Жыл бұрын
Ik you just did a fan made mini games video, but I actually have a good one me and my friends play that I wanted to share with u. The name of it is Ice Climbers So everyone gets in a boat to start. They start on the base of a giant structure that towers up. Like bowman blitz, the map can be made to whatever. Along the giant structure, most of the floor is made of ice. This is with the exception of rest stops and slime blocks. Each player will then compete in a one minute competition, of trying to get the highest up. Whether you use a red stone clock like us, or an irl clock doesn’t really matter. There are slime launchers around the track made to help you go farther up. There is also rest stops along the track. These are only for the purpose of being a spot players can use to rest, or just stay there for the rest of the game, in order to not risk falling at a harder area. If there is a tie, we like to have a 1v1 on the track to determine the winner. This step doesn’t really matter, though. It’s a pretty simple mini game, but definitely a fun one. And a sure chaotic one too. We occasionally will also throw in a twist, which will help to spice up the game. The twist is, In order to win, you don’t try and get the highest up, but the second highest up. Anyways, hope you like my mini game.

Idea for a minigame. You use the concrete powder loncher. And have a random anvil in it. Each player can press a button that will make a block move out to stop whatever gravity block that hits it. Your goal is to kill the other player. Each of them will all so have a shovel so the game will go on longer
