what I really love about Nick Fry is that he always maintains a kind heart to the life creatures, those rare creatures catch and film them but always let free. You know, Nick, it's always a pleasure to watch your adventures, no matter what you get up to...but what I like, maybe most of all, is how you don't mind showing all the mess-ups! The cages being unretrievable, stepping on the oyster, breaking the salt bottle, and usually (historically) getting burned one way or the other while cooking haha, and all the other things through the years! Hey, if you're gonna go out in the wild, roughing it against the odds, there's gonna be some bumps along the way, and that makes your videos even better! It makes you human and even more REAL! Some tip from a french guy: When heated at high temperature, pepper becomes pungent. It is therefore better to pepper the meat at the end of cooking so that it develops all its aromas. In the same way, aromatic herbs (thyme, rosemary) and spices lose their flavours on too high heat..I love what you do !

Great vid! Just a fishing tip, don’t hook your lures through your rod guides. You can mess up the guides. Use the rod’s hook saver (it looks like yours is just above your reel). Thanks for the great content!

Nice Nick. Just a thought. You could have dived down to the crab pot floats with the end of an anchor rope with a slip knot already tied in it. Slip it over the buoy and swim back to the boat. Then pull it in. Would probably work.
