Played the A-10 Cuba! one. I remember my father bring the game home, he borrowed it from a friend. I think that was the first time I saw a 3D flight sim game.

A-10 Cuba (and its Mac exclusive prequel) were on another level. The physics modelling was ahead of their times.

@@lemangkuk try virtual machine. That's the only way. Actually, you can run Cuba on win10, but without sound.

This was one of my favorite flight games growing up. It struck just the right balance between being accessible and straightforward enough to jump straight into the action (flying with a mouse was not only doable, but preferable) without being overly simplistic. It probably helped that I had Version 1.5 with the additional Europe and Desert Storm missions. Some of the additional missions were extremely difficult, even with cheats enabled (I could never find all of the launchers in time for the "Scud Hunt" mission). That said, despite the lack of additional features compared to 1.5, I have to admit that this 1.4 version has it beat in a few areas. This actually has a better framerate, larger draw distance and more responsive joystick controls, making for a smoother flying experience overall!

...that's actually the first time I see it in color... Had an amber screen back in the day. Gunship, F-19, Strike Eagle and an M1 tanksim I can't remember the name of were my favourites.

9:02 😮😮😮...somebody plx tell to the today's game developers to look back for games like this , refurbish them a little bit and make them available again for the masses for download and play them again into infinity on their android devices like phones , tablets etc...on their way to work on the subway, on the bus ...etc...in their free time ...etc ...etc ..why spend millions on development when you have gems like this laying forgotten somewhere in cyberspace ??? ....😊😊😊

Someone at Dynamix got their NATO report names confused, that's for sure! Version 1.5 would correct this and give the MiG-27 its proper "Flogger" callsign.
