the opponent didn't realise that he needed to get rid of big taunts, buy smth like 2/1 reborn and leed a sindorai, than cleave so he would have like 70-80% chance to demolish dog's board)

My last opponent had a board like that against my pirates, with multiple 1000 tentacle spawn or whatever their names. Worse, they had the bird that instantly There were no murlocs in the lobby, I couldn't scam my way out of it... had to take second.

Well there is a 4 cost pirate that attacks at the beginning of the combat. You could try that, but I guess it would still be a 50/50 even if you managed to snipe the Octo.

@@kaiserstein Good idea. Though he had space on the board so sniping the Octo who still spawn the huge ass minions. Killing Titus though would still see more being spawned as he had a bird... maybe with a golden one or two. Hadn't thought of that one at the time.

@@as3609 both the bird and the pirate are start of combat effect, so no effect should take precedence, right? I do know that your minions are first to attack of you have more minions than your opponent, but for start of combat effect, I don't know if there are rules, other than RNG

As someone who doesn't play hearthstone but enjoys the videos, what does he mean when he says a card is "expensive." If they are all the same price(minis spells) I'm assuming it's in reference to the timing of the purchase? But idk.

Yes, he judges immediate value he can get from a card at that exact turn. Like, ideally you want a golden Brann, but if you have only one & you’re on a verge of dying, it might be a better idea to skip second Brann, because you won’t get much value from him. And also, even if all minions cost three, effectively, it’s only two gold, as you get one back, when selling. Some of cards return two, due to specific keywords (battlecries, etc) I see it like that

The round at 30:00, why didn’t this guy lead with cleave I mean even if he played around it, that’s just 100% brain dead or am I missing something?

Am I missing something or did dog misplay last turn? Should've taunted ligher and put it first, wrap god second. Instead the guy predicted what can happen and delayed his cleave, but got unlucky and killed lighter anyway before tentacles had a chance to suicide themselves into venomous

Unless he gets mindgamed and opponent goes for 6 minions, lets taunted lighter die, and hits 2nd with cleave
