The best "source" that I have is a guy like this. Just a "good ol' boy" who has tunnage of stuff for super reasonable prices. He scours the garage sales, auctions, estate sales, etc and then sells it to me at a very fair price. Saves me a TON of time and he makes a few bucks off of each item.

That was a cool situation that just happened for you. You traded up in value and you gained a possible source in the process. Only thing bad dealing with a guy like him is 1 he will value his stuff at top levels and 2 he probably dont wanna get rid of to much stuff. But the positive for you is that you gained a customer for neon signs that are broken or good working. The hardest thing for you to figure out is what he doesnt love. That will be the stuff that you will be able to make really good money on and in the process you can help him make some money on stuff he dont care about to buy more cool stuff. Oh by the way did he say that card you held was a babe ruth>?!? unreal! Ive never seen one b4 in person and i would have been extremely nervous touching it lol my luck i would have smashed it LOL. Boy he just had that in some random box in his garage like it was nothing lol If he has everything like that theres no telling what else is in there. Great video man so glad i got to watch that!

Antique bat maybe made in the 1920's? I think that stamped name is much newer marking. Most of the bats I have ever seen have the players full name not just the last name. Maybe it's one of the very first slugger 125 bats made? who knows. Hope you sell it for a lot of money.
