Great job Mike helping out a fellow farmer. Farmers depend on neighbors help all the time. If your equipment breaks and awaiting repairs, neighbors help because more than likely you've needed help in the past or soon or later you may need the help too. Everyone stay safe and always be careful. Sad to hear Jeff is getting ready to head back home, I sure enjoy his time on the ranch every year.

Hey Mike, that does not look like a lot of fun moving boxes often on and in things. Maybe it is time to build a freezer room big enough to where you can take the boxes of meat that you have coming in and just set them on tables/shelves in there, and not have to worry about all those freezers that you’re doing because the one room will suffice makes it easier on your back to. Just a thought.

Those antelope seemed to want to cross the road and nothing seems to change their mind. We see them while deer hunting east of Calgary, Alberta. They will not jump a fence so they go under the barb wire. It is great that you can help your neighbor. It is good that you got a bale spear for your Bobcat. 😊

I remember it was grain harvest time one year, and my dad’s stomach ulcers perforated. He nearly bled to death. This was before they flew people to bigger hospitals. But they flew my dad from Cody Wy to Billings MT. Our neighbors came together and harvested our farm before they did their own. When I told my dad as he lay in the hospital bed (he always had a farmers Tan even in winter, but now he was as white as the hospital sheets) you could see a weight lift from his shoulders. God bless those neighbors! Good men and women!

@@OurWyomingLife … it’s something I will never forget… mom was worried about dad, his recovery was going to take a long time (they ended up removing 3/4 of his stomach and the surgeon said when he held it up to check it, it looked like lacework… dad was worried about being able to pay the bills if he lost the crop. Our neighbors put us ahead of themselves… I don’t live there anymore, but I still love those people…

That was a nice herd of antelope running by in front of you. Thought you might mention it. I was at a rest area between Douglas and Gillette and walked slowly to the fence to take a few nice shots of the antelope on the other side. A woman and her two kids came screaming up to the side of me and scared them off. I was not happy. I turned and gave them a look and they were oblivious to what they'd just done. My brother had 5 acres on Franklin so got to see a lot behind his place. Beautiful country. My 2 boys and 6 grandkids live in CO. Too cold for me! Stay safe and thanks for sharing your Wyoming life with us!
