The outcomes of ex-NFL players is mostly sad. Whether it's the CTC or general injuries to the body, their life expectancies are very short and the vast majority are broke a few years out of the league because they spend the money they earn as though they'll continue earning the same amount after they get cut. I tell every kid I see playing football that they should be playing baseball or golf instead.

I have heard it said for years that Jerry Jones meddles in the cowboys' business. I understand that this is his team. he owns it ,solo, and he wants to make sure that things are okay. However ,he's a little bit --in my opinion-- too involved. he doesn't have to make every personnel decision. He doesn't have to be involved in every single meeting. I could respect it, if he wanted to make sure, that the quarterback 1, for example, was someone he approved of, or, if they wanted to make a change there, and he was kept abreast and kind of consulted. something major like that. I don't understand why he had to worry about even the preseason guys or the UFDAs. I've heard it said, and now I've really and I have started to believe it , that the cowboys will never win anything more as long as Jerry Jones is the owner, the gm, the potentate.😂 He doesn't understand that it's okay to let the coaches, coach. His son is there to make sure that it's going to be a Jerry Jones franchise. he doesn't have to worry about some coup or something. his daughter works there.
