I like this storyline. The MIL was a monster The son was greedy but found his way back too late. The ending was sad. The mother had to show strength and leave them behind because they were too toxic.

The FL allowed herself to be abused which is annoying. The MIL is fugly inside and outside, the not-working son wants his mother to support his family and the other greedy ones prey on any weakness. One sick society.
