Its destruction of Leo's Presence on modern Flandrica would Give rise to the First Kingdom of Flandrica, though most importantly, its subsequent conquest of the island would bring about the far more important second kingdom, which established Flandrica permanently in the island. It also would in its fall create Skitaka, an Empire that Lasted over 1000 years, and itself would create Kocher, which united the entire world. Though Mercania as a nation and people is long dead, its infuence remains everywhere you gaze, and its importance to the world Cannot be understated.

Republic of Leos lasted from 302 AD - 3218 AD. That is insane...2916 years of existence without ever being conquered. Existing as the same continuous government. Right before its destroyed, it manages to conquer its homeland.

After successfully escaping Meranian conquest in 515 and thousand of years in exile, Leos finally returns home in 4155. …And falls not even a century later, maybe they were right to move to the island.

Shout out to The Second Tribal Alliance of Skitaka most big empires in the world grew, got too big splintered, and died but not them. they splintered like 20 times, always recovered, and lasted over 2000 years while uniting over the mainland continent and Skitaka Bay isles multiple times. They are definitely the Rome of this world although considering their name I suspect they have more of an HRE style of ruling with an African aesthetic. So it's like an HRE/Egypt/Roman empire which is awsome. and just like real-life Rome within a few centuries of the 'Orginal Empire' falling they had like 10 "successor states". and Egyptian history has kings who had names like 'Kamose the last Pharaoh of the Theban Seventeenth Dynasty' it's some really cool stuff. Sucks they never got to unify the world even if only for a few decades.

Sixth Kingdom of Mercania finally got it right, in spite of everything that happened it managed to survive 370 years and was a dominant power in the region for a large portion of it. It also destroyed its longtime oppressor's the Meranians, and was the first Mercanian Kingdom to conquer beyond the home islands.

The History of this world can basically be summed up as: The Kingdom of Flandrica(wonder if they've got a certain immortal loli vampire lol) vs whoever the primary power of the northeastern island is The island of the northwest alternating between independent rule and occasional rule by the southwest island The southwest island being super stable while occasionally stabbing either Flandrica or the northeastern power
