Overall I am enjoying the Flip 6P. However, using the PC plate, I am finding spots where the board is rather hollow, I have been told using the aluminum plate will remedy all these issues, so I will consider using that in the future in a rebuild. It is an interesting take on a 60% that utilizing a numpad with a lot of quality of life features for those who want really fine tune their layout and typing experience. I do think there are MUCH better sounding boards on the market, but there are none that scratches this itch for a flippable 60% layout. I hope everyone has a good day.

given they offer a soldered PCB and plate mounted gasket nubbins, it would be sick to see this board built plateless! Great to see more unique layouts available at lower price points!

Currently typing on this now, and I’m equally enjoying the Flip 6p. Been using it for about a week and it’s been Fabulous. PC plate, Macchiatos, and no foams!

Layout is really nice, I hope to see more keyboards with this 60+numpad layout (numpad on the left side). As the average split spacebar enjoyer it would be nice if they could have done a 3-1-3 option for the spacebar.

Packaging is the exact same as the DR-70F, no upgrade to it, still immaculate as last time. They are killing the game.

I do wish they would change up their gasket / gasket mounting solutions. The DR70 in any config was just too stiff and a bit too audible in some cases for me or just way too quiet, no bass and no inbetween. This one seems like it will be a very similar scenario but since I love the 60% + Numpad layout I'll likely get it anyway.

Neat. Would probably keep the numpad on the right side, however.

Would you be interested in trying the Vter Galaxy 100 & Ajazz AC100 Max, both are aluminum, gasket mounted, and 1800 format keebs.What's interesting is that both are around $100-120 price range and sounds good from what I've seen.

Numpad on the left is a hard no - would never buy this
@markpew81115 ай бұрын
Left NP actually has a lot of advantages. Sitting centered for typing, the NP doesn’t encroach into the space for your mouse and mouse pad. Additionally you use your left hand for data entry so you can keep your right hand on the mouse to click/highlight cells. It’s opinion which is best on a personal level, but talking purely ergonomics left side numpad is objectively better if you sit with keyboard paced so that you are centered on the home row.

You can flip the layout to have the numpad on the right, as well.

You can build the numpad on the left or right. That's the gimmick with this keyboard.
