This song tore me up emotionally when I was just listening to the studio version. Seeing and hearing him play it live is even worse. He looks really sad. Wasn't expecting him to seem so sad. That's the thing about music though; even though it can be painful and bring up bad memories, it never stops being beautiful.

I"m pretty sure this is in drop d. When his pinky and ring finger go to the relative 5th fret; That is a G chord. His relative minor chord is also B. but he is using a weird version of B instead of the minor to create a drop. However the sound is skewed by the way he is playing it. finger strumming.
