It takes a lot to admit that you're not alright, and it takes even more to check in even if you know you're not doing the best. We're here for you even when you're away taking time for yourself. I'm very proud of you, and hope everything is all good and well soon. 🌧🌧💙

(Sigh) I have to miss out on the train renovation because I can't watch while I'm working, but on the bright side, I can listen to the amazingly soothing voice of a wonderful person! I hope by the time I'm finished listening to the video, I'll discover that you're feeling better, but until then, I'll comment early about how appreciated you are as a person because your genuine desire to help others makes the world a better place!

@@snailglue9716 Gah, I struggle to believe anything relating to me could ever be considered cute, but as not to be rude, thank you very much! You're too sweet to me, but I hope nothing ever happens to you that takes away your kindness! All the best to you! 💖

Lacey Do Well, you better believe it (unless of course, it isn‘t a descriptor you want to identify with). Thank you & same to you regarding the kindness! ✨

@@snailglue9716 Hmph, shameful KZbin didn't notify me of your response, but how about we compromise, and I admit that I want to believe it? (Honestly, I have this silly notion that if people thought I was cute and adorable, then I wouldn't be hurt as much). I really do appreciate your consideration though, and on another note, I find your username so interesting! Is it the equivalent to the trail of snail slime?

Lacey Do I am so sorry to hear that you are feeling/being hurt. Hopefully, you have someone in the real world you can turn and talk to about it! If we are talking physical appearance, unfortunately, people do tend to judge each other based on it, but nobody has the right to hurt you because of it, that‘s not an excuse! People‘s bad behaviour sometimes reflects more on them than it does on you and not internalising it as a reflection on yourself can be difficult. But the fact that you are willing to believe nice things about yourself means you can! 💕 Kind of... I just liked the idea of it being real glue and having a snail seal your letters & help with craft projects 😁

I either work a crap ton or not at all so either way I feel a tad bit miserable. One day I'll find a balance and I hope you do too. I sometimes try to be a parent to myself but then I realise I am the worst parent ever so that's great. Haha the bathroom. I love how you gave up on that part.

Glad to hear that things are getting better. I am also chipping away at a pile of things that has been growing while I haven't been on my mental/emotional/whatever A-game. The academic coach sounds like a great idea. I have a bi-weekly check-in with a friend to talk about my projects. That has been helpful in keeping me from going to far off the rails and getting me back on track. (Trying to stay with the train theme there!) I hope you are finding the academic coach similarly helpful! I hope you are (and everyone watching this as well) being gentle with yourself/ves. We are all doing the best we can in a pretty tough time.

Thank you for spending time with us today Rainy. It was very comforting just talking through what you’ve been doing in such a casual manner. My brain has been flip-flopping all over the place from the challenging times and uncertainty right now. When I listen to you speak it soothes me. Your commitment with a coach is a good idea. It sounds like you are making positive progress with your assignments. Good job. Thank you again for just being you.

That was chill, thank you :) Happy to hear you are addressing your problems and feeling a little better! I think it’s quite hard sometimes to call oneself out on self-hindering behaviour, and to do so in a helpful way. But you seem to have a really good head on those shoulders and a lot of emotional intelligence and awareness (your last Q&A especially impressed me with the nuanced thought you put into things), so I am sure that YOU’VE GOT THIS 🐛 On another note, I think you’re onto something there with the highest soap dispenser: Perfect for showers?! Tell me I am wrong!

I’m glad you are doing better...I only recently started to understand how important that whole “put on your own oxygen mask before assisting others” thing is myself. (Very.) Yay for smashing virtual stuff! Although that one loud crash made me jump. I want cleaning the house to be more like this game. “I love Tina...well not anymore” 🤣
