At 3:38 you mentioned that days are good enough to count something which is true until you consider the universe is 14 billion years old which would equate to roughly 5.11e+12 days. This number as you can imagine would be quite difficult to easily remember and easily differentiate from other days. Even if we only started counting from 2000 years ago there would still be around 730,000 days. We use years and months to make it easier to interpret time by categorically organising it.

The cars show at 3:07 look similar because they are built on earth for humans so it would make sense that different car company's would create cars with a similar look and functionality. Also we have been developing and innovating cars for the past 100 years so the design is so refined that straying too far away from it would just create an inefficient car.

We use days, months and years to easily organise our busy life's and make dates and events easier to remember. If we only counted in seconds since the creation of the universe you can understand how things would get complicated. Though a year is based on earths rotation around the sun we don't need 12 months or 7 days in week its just an arbitrary number humans have created. But it is still globally understood and recognised.

This is partially incorrect, dates and months are a universally excepted way to divide the human year, as you mentioned above listing time in seconds would be difficult but listing in just years would make impossible to get a more accurate time frame.

No on really though of a leap year we just add an extra day, February 29, to our calendars to help synchronize our human created calendars with Earth's orbit around the sun. This is because earths orbit around the sun is approximately 365.25 days not exactly 365 days.

There are many differences between a Toyota and Tesla including manufacturing, materials and brand reputation. The main difference is that Tesla uses only electric energy whereas the Toyota shown in the picture uses a traditional combustion engine.

answer to your question there are many brands of the same thing because if there was 1 brand they would have a monopoly and could charge $100 for a packet of chips and people would have to buy it because there are no other brands of chips. Also because of competition.
