When Sir Handel’s Personality Change Could’ve Happened: We all know he was absent for the rest of the Classic era + Season 9 but we could just say he just so happened to not be onscreen and just so happened to be elsewhere. And no I don’t think he was at this stone quarry for all of Seasons 5-9 since it was just said he was there the whole summer meaning the one for Season 10. He was likely still the arrogant and rude prat he was meant to be during Season 5 since that’s when all the actual logic in the show was still happening but we could say he was starting to become wiser and more mature during Seasons 6 and 7 due to how his 2002 Trading Card and the 2003 HIT Bible were now describing him as being old wise and kind. And with Duke, yeah he likely also has just been working on the Skarloey Railway offscreen and that’s where that could come into play; He might’ve been working with Sir Handel on improving his behavior and helping him change and would be the perfect engine since he was his mentor.
