IMO a rickroll has nothing to do with whether you like the song. The key thing that makes it a rickroll is tricking the person into playing the song themselves. Way back when, my mom had a vintage jukebox, and brought home some 45's after a trip. She told me it was Chantilly Lace (a favorite), put it in and told me the code. I entered the code, and... you know the rest. Nothing will ever top that. (Yes, she also had Chantilly Lace. That would just be mean.)
