This was a genuinely entertaining piece of content, even putting aside which bag "won" in each category-it was simply nice to (virtually) hang out with bags (patterns & styles) that I'm familiar with, a bit like seeing old friends again...and I found it interesting to hear your thought process of how you evaluated and made decisions about each of them.

I glad it was entertaining. 😊 Some of my choices came down to pure practically and others were "the heart wants what the heart wants". 😅 No real rhyme or reason to any of it, just what I felt in the moment. It was fun trying to "fill" each category, though. Difficult, but fun. And you know that if I ever did have to get rid of a bunch of my bags for some reason that there are still a TON more that wouldn't be going anywhere. 😉

The only one I think I would have chosen differently - purely based on the details as I don't own any of these bags - is I would have chosen the Lug for travel. I am more likely to need a weekend bag than a suitcase. Great idea for a video!

Appreciate you letting us know this was from a while back, it's just that you were only able to get it edited & posted now. When you mentioned "travel", you know I was rooting for the PT Lay Flat Duffel to be your choice...as if it were a sports team of which I'm a fan LOL so I very much concur-we were thinking along the same lines :) It's a freaking fantastic bag style/design IMHO

Girl, you can't beat the lay flat duffle. Idk why it took me so long to try one, but they're absolutely fabulous! You already knew it was going to win the travel category. 😅 But on the topic of previously recorded content, I have several other videos that I've already recorded and not had time/energy to edit. Great idea for a video. Your so right about how we need a different type or kind of bag depending on what your doing. I'm with you on the light day bag I have the same one. Itsy ditsy is the print that keeps on giving. As for my husband he told me I have enough vera .... so I guess he wants a divorce 😂😂😂jk but yes husband's just don't understand lol btw I just ordered another vera

Great choices. I don’t know if I could pick just one bag for each occasion. I love seawater blooms and have a glenna and mini carson in it. I also love the itsy ditsy pattern. I have a mini ranger coming from QVC in metallic black, as I wanted to try that color, and find that the ranger is too big for me as well. It’s funny because my hubby and I also talk about my bags. He collects keyboards/synthesizers. For me, bags make me feel stylish because I dress casually most of the time, so it’s nice to have a fun bag to liven up an outfit. Enjoy your weekend 😊

Thank you! 😊 It was super hard to try and pick just one bag to fill the category. In all fairness, if I ever had to truely get rid of a bunch of my bags there are still SO many more than these that I would keep. 😅 For this video I just tried to choose a fabulous style/pattern, but still be logical in picking for each specific purpose. It was difficult! 😅 I don't have anything in the metallic black yet, so you'll have to let me know how you like it once you get it. 😊 But I totally agree on your reasoning for why you enjoy bags so much. I'm an extremely casual dresser, too. I generally wear very simple clothing, so having the perfect bag can make my outfits so much more interesting. 😊 Thank you so much for watching and chatting with me! I received my metallic black mini ranger today and LOVE it. The black color looks like leather with just a bit of shimmer. It has an edgy look and fits all my essentials. I originally tried it when it first came out and didn’t like it (seemed too small). I’m glad I gave it another chance. It’s perfect for me now.

I just want to let you know how much I appreciate all the hard work you put into your videos. I just loving reviewing the contents. I have purchased way too many bags since COVID lol. Lots of Vera Bradley and more recently LUG, I have to stop but love them all. I recently purchased the LUG Pilot in white vegan leather.. it’s amazing. All my other bags have patterns but this is plain white. Hopefully I don’t spend $100s again on a plain selection.. oh nooo.. you take care sweetheart and look forward to your next video. ❤❤

It’s funny, but, I prefer the 1.5 inch strap. It doesn’t seem to dig in to my shoulder as much. I usually carry crossbody. My favorite of all the bags you showcased is the Mini Ranger. I think it’s just about perfect for any occasion. Thanks for a great video.

I can totally see why some people prefer the wider straps. 😊 It's just whatever is more comfortable for us, and the wider straps definitely distribute the weight of a bag better. They just don't sit right on me, though. Because of the way my shoulder area is it makes them stick out/off and it looks strange on me. That's why I prefer the 1 inch straps, because they sit flat on my shoulder. The mini Ranger is a fantastic bag!! It's fun trying to guess which item you might choose as each category comes up (kinda' like watching an awards show)...I was close on the Carson Mini one. By the way, on the regular VB website-they suddenly (appeared day before Txgiving) have the Miller bag in Signature Cotton (sale price $42) in 8 (retired) patterns (3 patterns have sold out already). I ordered another one, this time in Itsy Ditsy :) bc it's like looking at one of those Where's Waldo drawings, with all the colorful tiny bugs hidden in the pattern.

Girl, I saw those Miller bags! I was SHOCKED when I saw them, but I ordered 2... in 2 patterns that I have nothing else in. 😉 They've already shipped out and I'm super excited to receive them. They had some pretty good deals for the holiday, and I was tempted by several of them... but I'm trying my darnedest to be good right now. 😅 I came SO close to getting the new perennials gray king throw, and 3 or 4 of the regular throws. But I literally have no more room for them right now, so I passed. Sadly. 🥺 But whenever that package arrives you know I'll do a video. 😊
