That stadium is wildly successful. It was built there (not downtown) because it's the #1 tailgating stadium in MLB. The Brewers average 30,000 fans per game in the smallest market in MLB. Without that roof they would average 18,000 fans per game.

I agree! I mention in the video that the stadium does have its positives, but being an older stadium its struggling to "keep up with the times" , and being in the smallest market in the MLB does not help. As for the roof the design its cool and it is functional, but it does have some flaws. Additionally I have no problem with the stadium location and the tailgate factor is really cool, but the lack of accessibility for non-drivers is what's unfortunate. hopefully some of the downfalls get fixed with renovation! ​@garrettstadiumtravel the team is getting a half billion dollars for renovations which should help modernize things Also, while Milwaukee has no rail to really speak of there is a robust amount of shuttles from many area bars and restaurants including some downtown and other neighborhoods closer to the heart of the city such as Walker's Point. Some establishments require a food or beverage purchase while others do not

In Bernie's orginal Chalet at Milwaukee County Stadium, he used to slide down into a big mug of beer. Also the role of Bernie was played by a Marquette University student in lederhosen.

They put in a new scoreboard since this. It’s about twice the size of the old one. Pretty nice 👍

Agreed! I believe they'll get a financing deal in place for renovations but its always scary for the fans when the r-word gets mentioned!
