Here are some examples of proper etiquette to keep in mind for competitive level rules enforcement events in Flesh and Blood. Let me know in the comments if you can think of anything I missed.

one quick note : you dont have to put your equipement facedown in their zones prior to starting a game. However, you have and can present them all facing down in a single pile. This is preventing your OP to make decisions based on what weapon(s) you play as it is the case for Warriors, Guardians, Brutes and Ninjas for example
@BlockOutParty

Yes, I should have mentioned that. A single facedown pile is also in accordance with the rules for that exact reason. It's not public information if you'll be running a 2H weapon or two 1H weapons until after decks are presented.

This hit a couple of the biggest things for me. Slow player should offer the concession if there’s no way to win. And never fast play through priority windows.

Some etiquette: 1. Do not voice complaints mid game. The only thing you should be doing is conveying the game state and being a respectful, good sport. “No Johns” 2. Ask your opponent if you can touch their cards before attempting to do so. 3. Do not try and nail someone on a rules technicality with a judge call. Ask your opponent to correct a minor mistake and then only involve a judge after the opponent is repeatedly ruining the game.

Great video and just wanted to say that I really appreciate the production values here. Fantastic job. As a judge, these are definitely all things I wish that people were a bit more concsiously aware of as they walk into an event.

I actually tick my tunic now before my opponent has finished drawing up, just because its so incredibly easy to forget if theres ANY additional pause between them announcing the end of their turn and the start of mine, to make sure this isn't sketchy i announce it loudly and i do not begin to play cards until theyve finished drawing and I think thats very fair. Beyond that I agree with everything else in the video, its really a shame that most players don't follow these guidelines for concession, I really hope that changes one day.

A draw is not a game loss for both players. A draw is still better than a loss, according to tie breakers.
@BlockOutParty

You are correct. A loss and a draw both result in 0 match points, but the draw comes in to play for tiebreakers. Good catch.

Some cards have been just for soo long in the market, think its interesting to see how it works when they got less, since theyre oop someday that will happen anyway BUT its true that we need to have in mind, the health of the Game AND Market is whats most important to all of our Flesh and Blood.

Do I have to put my equipment in its zones when I place it face down? I play Fai, and that would reveal whether or not I’m on Kodachi or emberblade. I’d prefer to just pick my equipment and place it in a stack
@BlockOutParty
@BlockOutParty 11 ай бұрын
You do not have to place your weapons and equipment in their respective zones. They can stay in a pile so you don't have to reveal how many weapons you'll be using.

Only thing I would say, I'm not sure I would concede if there were no way for me to win with the final turn. I would however, concede if there were no way for me to survive my opponents final turn. Even that is hard to say unless you're both on your final couple of cards.
@BlockOutParty
@BlockOutParty Жыл бұрын
That's definitely true. It's pretty common for both players to have no way to win on final turns. If one player is clearly out of cards, it would be courteous of them to just concede at time in the round.

Crown of Seeds? When Oldhim pitches a blue to use CoS on their opponent's turn, they'll have 4 cards in hand, 2 resources floating and 1 damage prevention floating. This allows them to very efficiently block whatever comes their way. If you pick up Oldhim, you'll quickly learn how important it is to your game plan.

Just want to get something corrected from your vid at 5:52, which you shown and pointed at End Phase having priority, but under 4.4.1 of the comprehensive rules: Players do not get priority during the End Phase. Just want to get this clarify because you can't play cards if you don't have priority so instant can't be played in the End Phase, while in your video it allows them to play cards because they have priority.
