A Basic Overview of Lidia's Stances and Mindgames, and How to Avoid Counterplay to Her Stances

Normally when I make these Lidia videos I do multiple takes and it ends up taking 10+ hours to fully record, edit, and upload one video. Many of you have been asking for more videos, and have said that you don't care too much if the videos aren't perfect. So I recorded this video in 1 take as a test so I could upload it quicker, and hopefully get more videos out for you faster. It definitally feels more rushed to me, but it took me significantly less time, so hopefully you all still find it helpful! I haven't watched it yet as I'm about to sleep, but you're literally like the only Lidia streamer and even when she was the new thing and everyone was uploading your quality of knowledge and info on her is leagues better. We can take some scuff or not absolute cinema quality, but we appreciate it. I just look forward to another great guide regardless.

Great video! something that could help you out is a script. the information is alot more structurized comparedto your previous vids which is great, I think however if you had a script and then made the video it would maybe take a little bit longer but it would make "capturing" the video fater as you would be even more concise and it helps structurize better. 10+h of editting is unneccesary as long as the info in it is great and understandable, for which I commend you on this vid!

@@Aryst4r Thank you for the suggestion! I've tried scripting videos in the past, but the problem is that it takes way too long to make the script and I find it doesn't end up changing the final video much at all (at least for me), but I still appreciate it regardless.

@@sesujin please I'm loosing rank with Lidia destroyer to demoniator I watched your guides carefully also I watch your Lidia live but I'm losing when I use df+3 the enemy punish me very badly

@@taimoorkiyani6650 I would reccomend not using d/f3 much, the move is way too punishable for the reward that it gives you. Other fast mid checks you can use are d/f1, ff2, and d/f2. I would also say that if you're getting punished a lot, try using defense a lot more than you would normally feel comfortable with. Most people below purple ranks struggle because they don't play defensively enough, and get blown up because they feel a need to attack and be aggressive. Of course, there are so many variables it's impossible for me to give any proper suggestions on how to help, but try those out for a start and see how it goes.

Minor note: You can tell if your opponent is on P1 side (or rather, the same side you've picked) if at round start your camera is facing the opposite direction than default. For example if on Fallen Destiny you start the round and the forest fire is in the background instead of the ocean, or on Celebration on the Seine you don't see the Eifel Tower in the background, then you know your opponent picked the same side as you, and if you picked P1 then they can't SSR from crouch if they're on the right side of your screen or SSL from crouch if they're on the left side of your screen. If you get the default view then there's no way to know which side they're on, because they either picked the same side and you lost the 50/50, or they picked the other side.

Yes, thank you for this! Should have mentioned it in the video, but it's something that didn't even cross my mind because this type of situation is pretty rare in Tekken.

Very nice explanation. Isnt cat 1+2 has a bigger hitbox to counter sidestep? Also i found a very useless mechanic os that wolf 1 can be cancelled like 1+2.

Thank you! So charge moves in this game re-align with a mistimed sidestep, and that includes 1+2. It will still lose to side walk, but if you let go after the opponent sidesteps then it will track. Also I just tried that wolf 1 cancel and it blew my mind. I don't know how I missed this in the move list, but I'm gonna be using it, thank you for that!
