Hey there stranger! Thank you for paying me a visit, I don't get visits often, at least, not that I can remember…. It does get quite lonely in here from time to time. If you don't mind, I'll tell you a story about my past, something I remember like yesterday. Let me tell you a grand story, a story about a battle I never forgot. I remember this battle fondly. I remember playing the hot light tank where I fought Waffenträgers and TVP's……
This video is about a dementia patient in one of the last stages of dementia. Grandpa doesn't remember who he worked for most of his life and even forgot some of his family members. He does, however, remember some of his battles from a game he used to play: World of Tanks. The battles he remembers weren't that impressive, but grandpa remembers them fondly. These are some of his last memories and he tries his best to not forget. Grandpa mistakes Scorpions for Waffenträgers, Skoda T25s for TVPs and teammates for enemies. His sense of time is way warped. He remembers the old kv 1s and still thinks the Waffenträger E100 was in the game at this point in time.
This video was supposed to be a quick video about a very weird battle where a lot of features were missing for some reason (Turns out it was a mod about for the M4A3E8). I finished this quick video and all I needed was some music. After some time, and some bad music choices, it clicked. I remembered watching “everything at the end of time” for like 2 hours already and I found it very fitting with the theme of the video. So I scraped the first video and started from scratch. I hope I portrait my thoughts well in this video and feedback is always appreciated.
