I started watching him around 1970, as a five year old. 50 years later, I’d like to think things he taught me have stuck with me to this day.

I'm in the UK and had never heard of Mister Rogers,as to my knowledge it was never shown over here. I will go to see the film when it comes out though as I found this to be a powerful trailer. For me it was the music that made me feel emotional as I didn't have the nostalgia to set me off,but music+nostalgia is a powerful combination especially when the strings kick in!

Is there a KLEENEX award for most cried-at Trailer? This one's gonna take it! I saw the movie again today. Funny thing, I was more of a Sesame Street fan growing up. This trailer grabbed me and the movie did the rest. I'm a fan. Oh, you have to see this vid...it's called, "It's you I like' ; a song written by Mr. Rogers that got an acoustic guitar treatment. ADORABLE!

two generations in my family loved Mr Rogers, my son growing up in the 1970's and his two daughters in the 90's. This movie will be a full box of tissues.

Fred never "came home from work". He was very upfront with the viewer about the fact that it was a television show. Once in a while he'd show the audience how he makes the puppets work and the people he worked with behind the scenes.

Have you seen Won’t You Be My Neighbor before? That documentary is so incredibly moving. Is your arm ok btw? What happened to it?
