Jaylena you are one of the most kindest sweetest person. I’m a good judge of character in my seventy year. Jason is a good man. I hope he realizes that you two have a wonderful friendship. It’s what makes a marriage work. The rest is just icing on the cake. Love you both.

We all need alone time.....some more than others. I’m an introvert and crave space. This shocks most people because I’ve been married for over 20 years and have 2 adult children, yet I NEED to get away from others.....even my family.....at times. There’s nothing wrong with that. Do what you need to do to help your state of mind. Your TRUE loved ones should understand this.....just as my family has. In time you’ll figure out what’s good for you and you can proceed. Be careful in your journeys and always be true to who YOU are!! Don’t change yourself to please others. Finding peace, joy and happiness is what we all want in the end.

Jaylena, Thank you for taking the time to so beautifully scan across the trail summit that you hiked. It actually made me cry (just a little) as it reminded me of all the wonderful camper trips I shared with my mom as a teen and young adult. Now at 66 and my lovely mom now gone for almost 20 years, those special memories are incredibly precious to me. So, again, thank you for bring those memories to the surface for me to relive once again. ❤️❤️❤️

A beautiful tribute to honor your friend.💖 You seem pretty shaken up at the end sweetheart, my heart sunk for you. I hope whatever it is resolves itself in a positive way. Life sometimes definitely throws us curve balls at the most unexpected times. I guess we have to take in as much from those moments that we can. Trash the rest and shake it off! (The things we don't need) God Bless

What a beautiful tribute to your friend Crystal! I don't consider myself religious but isn't it amazing what God has created? So beautiful with all of the different rocks/stones, etc. That hill had me panting with you walking up and I wasn't even there! LOL. Between that last hill walking up, the music, and the view had me shedding some tears for your dear friend. May Crystal rest in peace. I can't imagine how she was able to do all of that with cancer! I find myself being surrounded by so many people at work with customers that I need quiet time and that view in nature looked so soothing. There's nothing wrong with needing solo time. It's soothing for the soul. Take time for you Jaylena. Hugs to you! Bonnie

Jaylena I think you are brilliant. You are honoring your friend and yourself at the same time. Don't let life get in the way, it always has glitches that's normal. If you follow your truth (your intuition) you will know which way to turn. If you don't know, then wait and say a prayer and ask for help. I wish you the very best!

For your hi boost Collapsible flagpole or painter poles are great for extending your antennas and then you just twist them and lower them back down. You can weld up a socket that fits in your trailer hitch to hold the pole. Just something to think about. Some collapsible flagpoles are 20 foot tall. You can travel with the pole collapsed and safe inside while you drive.

I'm so sorry that it didn't go the way you wanted, I hope that the disappointment doesn't keep you down for too long. I know that you had a safe trip back because I have seen you on Coffee with the Crockers. Will you still be taking Rufio on trips with you? I know that was your plan but I don't know if he gets on with the cats or not. Glad you made the trip Jaylena. I just wished it had worked out as you planned, but we all know how that goes. It was a beautiful place, I just wished you could have stayed in the van. Maybe a solo trip will be better for you so you can be alone with your thoughts ,do what you want when you want and also gives you a chance to get familiar doing the van life alone .We all need that time to be alone somewhere and experience the little things and places we love, but someone else may not. I like my time alone where I can just free my mind and just listen to nature. There are so many beautiful places to go and maybe not always alone, but a lot of people do the van life to be alone with their thoughts and nature. Just do you. Keep discovering things about yourself you didn’t know exist.Life is beautiful, live it to the fullest, we don’t get to come back and have do overs. You are doing great.Much Love❤️👍

A wonderful video. Jaylena you should be proud of yourself. It’s scary and you are right a few solo trips but there is no rush. No pressure. Just do what you feel comfortable with. No one judges. It’s you’re life and you have emotional struggles to overcome like so many of us and look how far you have come this year and especially with the way the world is. Hopefully you were able to release some emotion on the drive back , maybe had a cry (always a good release) and now that you are on a calmer more relaxed footing with Jason it will be great to get back there and finish you’re Vân and do some relaxing with Jason , re charge and then do another local solo trip. Slowly slowly catch the monkey 🐵. So many of us watch these videos and admire you as you’re brave honest and open and growing. Sending positive vibes over from UK 🇬🇧. X
