Klaserie is so gorgeous and so gentle. She was posing for the camera I think. Such a beautiful animal. Mambo is also gorgeous. They are so friendly, very sociable and very careful not to hurt anyone. If only that could be said of all people. The elephants really enjoy having their name called out by you Adine. They subtly turn their head in recognition when you greet them. So cute. Always beautiful sunsets there. There’s going to be a lot of happy dung beetles along that walk. So cute!! Khanysia is getting so tired … poor baby, it’s probably hard to keep up sometimes.

You see! I told you! I have been commenting on Klaserie's love of being on camera, selfies, etc. since day one! It's kinda nice and validating to see someone else notice it! She is a super diva and loves the spolight, just like baby sis Khanysia... ;-) If you have any free time, look back at some videos and you will see, especially when Adine is walking with them and filming herself with the HERD, Klaserie ALWAYS manages to come up to her and be in the camera shot, it's HILARIOUS!

For money. Simple as that, (unfortunately). Murderers of wildlife don't care about elephant families, (or any other species). There may be a myriad of reasons, ie, profit, criminal cartels, poachers, feeding their ever-expanding families, etc. Ultimately, it comes down to money = profit. But there really isn't a valid reason for slaughtering such intelligent mammals, (or any other species). Execute all these murderers immediately, (even many of the officials are corrupt). The law works in favours of the criminals unfortunately!
@8ftbed3 жыл бұрын
Oscar Novak No reason to slaughter intelligent animals... Execute these murderers I get what you're saying. Try coming up with a better way of saying it, so it can't be used against your argument. Its kind of like saying "All lives matter and Kill anyone who disagrees!" Between you and me... there's a whole continent I could see eliminated for their decimation of species for ivory trinkets, fin soup and whatever crap they make from turtle shells. Despicable.
@mandrakefrommanchester30333 жыл бұрын
@@8ftbed Not necessary. Actions obviously speak louder than words. As I said previously, execute all murderers. The vast majority of human primates clearly think they are the only species who's existence has value. Worst than that, humans are driven by greed, which results in slaughtering everything they encounter. I see little value in a selfish destructive species completely motivated by greed, (and is inexorably destroying the very world it inhabits).

Oh boy do I have questions! Where are their teeth? Back further in their mouth? Or under their huge lips? & I think I need to study the bone structure of an elephant. I am just fascinated with their feet! I want to know where their leg bone ends, what it connects to and if there are any bones in what seems to be such soft squishy feet. Those close up side shots of Klaserie's eyes are amazing! She has such long even lashes & a very striking head. Every time I see Fishan, I can't help but think of that long enduring struggle to get back to the orphanage after he hurt his leg - simple amazing determination! Khanyisa looks tired. But determined. It looks like she's set her pace and knows that if she sticks with it she'll get where she needs to go. She's set her pace and she's still trudging through the others who are getting in her was and interrupting that pace she' set. Too cute! Aaahhhhh Gosh! All the guests at the other side of the dam watching. How awesome! That was such a beautiful evening. And there are amazing sunsets in that area. Beautiful shot of Khanyisa's eye at the end of the video.

How many kilometers a day does the herd generally travel? Do you have predetermined destinations for the herd each day or do you let them go to where they want? I imagine wherever the herd goes each day is determined by food.
@herdelephantorphanage3 жыл бұрын
The carers have taken note of the herd's favourite spots and will usually guide them to these spots each day, depending on foraging availability. 💚 They try not to go too far from the stables so that they can come home before it gets dark. If the elephants prefer to move from a certain area, the carers will follow them and allow them to forage as they please.

Everything about this video is the definition of beauty. The land, the Ele's, the carers, the beautiful sounds and sky, the HERD family all together. Everything you are seeing in this video is the very best of human and animal nature combined. This is what heaven looks like I feel if indeed it exists. God bless you all! Also, who else adores how Adine and the Carers communicate with the Ele's just like they are friends. There is no difference with the species, humans aren't higher or positioned in a "better than you" role, all are equal. There is no hierarchy. If there is one, I would say it's the Ele's that are top dog here because frankly, this was their home first. She communicates with them all just like any friends and family, and I LOVE THAT about her and all of them! They just call them by their first names, but it's how you would talk to anyone you loved... SUCH a beautiful harmony of human and animal kind... The rest of the world could learn so much from HERD. P.S. Fishan looks like he is walking SO MUCH BETTER! So heartwarming to see how far he has come in his healing!

I love watching the elephants. Klasiree seems very personable and confident. Much more so than her big beautiful mom, Septombe. Septombe did a great job raising her daughter. Mambo and Zandoga are also getting bigger. The are handsome boys. There were two things that stole the show, for me. When Timi started to poop and Khaniysa was right under Timi's bum.. I just knew that Khaniysa was going to be hit by a bomb😂😂.. The second thing was when the elephant ahead stopped walking and Khaniysa ran into the elephants bum. Hilarity. Khaniysa looked really tired on the way in. I hope she gets a good night's sleep.
