For the younger generation who might have missed it, the song that plays is called "Every Letter" from the movie Cyrano, based on the story "Cyrano de Bergerac" by Edmond Rostand which tells of the story of Cyrano, a brilliant but self-conscious poet and swordsman who is deeply in love with Roxane, but believes she could never love him due to his large nose. Instead, he helps his handsome friend Christian woo Roxane by ghostwriting letters and providing him with poetic words. In South Park, ChatGPT plays the role of Cyrano, and that is next level hilarious.

@randompoop1565
@randompoop1565 Жыл бұрын
@@itsohaya4096 Once there was a poop named Stinky. Stinky had always lived a contented life, floating around in the sewer with his poop friends, never having to worry about anything. However, one day, Stinky's life took an unexpected turn when he found himself suddenly swept away by a powerful surge of water. Stinky tumbled and spun through the dark, winding tunnels of the sewer until he was suddenly flushed out into the bright sunlight. Blinking in the harsh light, Stinky realized with horror that he had been swept into a swimming pool. At first, Stinky tried to swim to the edge of the pool, hoping to climb out and find his way back to the safety of the sewer. But try as he might, Stinky simply couldn't fight against the currents of the pool, and he soon found himself being pushed further and further away from the edge. As Stinky drifted helplessly in the pool, he began to feel a sense of despair creeping over him. He had always been a carefree poop, but now he was trapped in an unfamiliar and dangerous environment, with no hope of escape. Days turned into weeks, and Stinky began to lose hope that he would ever make it back to the sewer. He watched in despair as children splashed and played in the pool, completely unaware of his presence. One day, as Stinky was floating listlessly in the pool, he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his side. Looking down, he saw a young boy swimming towards him, holding a pool net in one hand. In a panic, Stinky tried to swim away, but he was too weak to fight against the boy's strong strokes. In a matter of seconds, Stinky was trapped in the net, gasping for air as he was lifted out of the water. As the boy carried Stinky away from the pool, Stinky realized with a sudden sense of relief that he was going to be okay. He may have been trapped in the pool for weeks, but he had survived, and he had learned an important lesson about the value of life. From that day forward, Stinky was a changed poop. He no longer took his life for granted, and he was grateful for every moment he spent floating around in the sewer with his friends. And though he never forgot his terrifying experience in the pool, he knew that he had gained something valuable from it - a newfound appreciation for the preciousness of life.

There’s a good number of people who just rather look at the positives and not be called out on the negatives. It is very weird because I would be exhausted just constantly “think happy thoughts, only happy stuff. No icky bad thoughts!!” This episode had a layer of “happiness” but at its core was incredibly messed up. Sure the jokes are there (duh) but when you take a step back and reflect, interactions like Stan’s texts are not genuine yet his girlfriend was thinking they were while stan would lie to her by omission (and even straight up lie to her).

Yes, it's impressive how some people can become so proficient at using their phones that they can respond to messages without even looking at the screen. This skill is commonly referred to as "touch typing" or "blind typing". It involves memorizing the location of each key on the keyboard and using muscle memory to type without looking at the keys. With enough practice, touch typing can become second nature, and people can use their phones more efficiently without needing to constantly look at the screen. However, it's important to remember that distracted driving or walking can be dangerous, so it's always best to prioritize safety and avoid using your phone while engaged in other activities.

Why feel bad for her? It seems she doesn't really want a human connection, she just wants automatic replies to whatever inane nonsense she thinks up, look how utterly happy she is by rote automatic replies, she'd have continued to be happy if she'd never found out it was just an algorithm. She didn't want a boyfriend, she wanted a trained seal to bark any time she said hi.
@Cryogenius333
@Cryogenius333 Ай бұрын
@@BDNeon Shes 10, bud. Theres layers of ugliness to this, in classic South Park fashion. A ten year old doesn't know what kind of connection she wants. Stan has 0 engagement whatsoever, hence playing video games or shooting hoops, he shoots a GPT without even breaking his concentration on the shot. Its icy and ingenuine. On top of that is the incredibly sad and deeply disturbing fact this girl is basically being groomed by the AI through her smartphone. She's head over heels for these texts coming from what is for better or worse a catfish through her phone. There's an emotional vulnerability here that is so easy to manipulate, and as I mentioned, Wendy is a child. The choice of song here is not only poignant, its scathing. Cyrano is a tragedy about a fake man using another insecure persons words to pretend to be something hes not, while the insecure one gets to live vicariously through someone else. In the end, it falls apart. One of them dies, and the other lives his life trying to keep his secret, and moments before he passes away, finds out that if hed just spoken genuinely to Roxanne she would have taken him despite his insecurities. I see nothing comforting or warm or tender about this. This is classic backhanded South Park...which is why we love it, but viewers should remember...this is South Park.

People really are bending over backwards and staying in that gray area, to absolve Stan of any wrong doings. Or at least make it seem not that bad. He is absolutely not doing a good thing here. The defensive argument of “he’s 10, he’s just a kid, and communication is not his strong suit” is to downplay how bad the act of lying to your significant other is. Not to mention, perpetuating an aspect of your relationship that isn’t real yet letting your significant other continue to believe that. Anyone defending that or downplaying that, I hope your GF/BFs dont experience that.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators of South Park, have been entertaining audiences with their satirical and irreverent humor since the show's debut in 1997. Over the years, they have tackled a wide range of controversial and taboo subjects, from politics and religion to social issues and pop culture. Despite the show's often controversial content, Trey and Matt have managed to maintain a loyal fan base by being unapologetically themselves. They have never shied away from pushing boundaries and challenging the status quo, often using humor as a tool to address serious issues in a way that is both thought-provoking and entertaining. One of the keys to their success is their ability to stay current and relevant. They are masters at turning current events and pop culture trends into hilarious and memorable episodes. Whether it's spoofing a popular movie or poking fun at a political figure, they always manage to find a fresh angle that keeps viewers engaged and entertained. Another reason for their success is their willingness to take risks. They are not afraid to tackle controversial subjects and take on powerful institutions, even when it means facing criticism or backlash. This fearlessness has earned them respect from both fans and critics, and has helped them to maintain their creative integrity over the years. But perhaps the most important factor in their success is their chemistry as a creative team. Trey and Matt have been working together for over two decades, and their partnership is an integral part of the show's DNA. They complement each other's strengths and weaknesses, and are able to collaborate in a way that brings out the best in each other's work. In short, Trey Parker and Matt Stone are a creative force to be reckoned with. Their ability to stay fresh and relevant, take risks, and work together seamlessly has made South Park one of the most successful and beloved shows in television history. And with no signs of slowing down, fans can look forward to many more years of irreverent, hilarious, and thought-provoking entertainment from these two talented creators.

I completely understand where you're coming from. It's heartbreaking to watch Wendy fall for someone who isn't even putting in the effort to have a genuine, authentic conversation with her. It's important for any relationship to be built on honesty and open communication, and the fact that Stan is relying solely on an AI system to talk to Wendy is a red flag. Hopefully, Wendy will eventually realize that she deserves someone who treats her with respect and actually wants to invest time and effort into getting to know her as a person.

The first time I seen a south park montage being clean and nice. Though the other episodes are funny and cool keep up the good work! ok Stan really memorized how to use ChatGPT and texting for Wendy while eyes closed and blind.

tbh I think this was one of the...less bad things he's done with her bc he didn't have any bad intentions, I think he was just being dumb. and unlike clyde with bebe at least he cared abt wendy's feelings lol
