Bonus Candidates for pokemon: Suicune V. Its one i've stuck with so far and i nickname it Baby Palkia for a reason. Draws an extra card (Which once drew me into a VIP Pass turn 1 going first. Id already used 1!). Hits for 220 at most with both benches full and like Palkia Vstar, takes just two energy to setup. That and people seeing a Suicune V tends to catch them off guard, and they dont tend to be ready for what comes next! Articuno from Pokemon Go. This is a tricky one, but that extra ten damage means you arent discarding 6 to take out 310HP pokemon. Can come in handy but that two retreat cost really bites it. The attack is ok against LZ box at least. At a Push: Keldeo from CZ. I tested it a couple times and its not too bad. Just not the best. As for the build itself? 60hp Frigibax is the way to go. I didnt pull any so my first initial builds of Chien were not anywhere close as consistent. But now that im on V 3.0. This deck is running like a trooper! Another Stadium is Skater's Park (Which im sure you are aware of now). Very useful and even enables you to Bax two onto the Chien you just Shivering Chill'd, retreat into another one, keeping the energy in Hand and Shivering for another two. Really gives your opponents the.... Cold Shoulder.... *Grabs coat*

Why arceus? Is palkia for recyclling not better?

It's down to personal preference, but Arceus is usually chosen over Palkia because getting the setup for the deck is incredibly important, and there's enough options usually to recycle energy through Superior Energy Retrieval and Super Rod!
