Awesome show, hope there's a volume 2 or 3 to come. There's so many more films, it's the gift that just keeps giving!

Hi, Christian. I've been subscribed to your channel for a long time, I rarely comment though, but this stream was so educational and engaging that I couldn't leave the video without saying thanks for having put it out. You're slowly turning into the Howard Stern of horror talk. I hope you can replicate this video with other countries, like French horror cinema, Spanish, German, and so forth. Thanks for the good time.

This video made me re-subscribe to Shudder because there are far too many Fulci films I haven’t seen. One of the best videos I’ve seen from you, CHH. Amazing insight from both Lorne and Piz.

They truly are students of the game in Italian cinema. They made this video possible. I’m so glad you’re going to re enter the genre

Fantastic show guys very informative on Italian horror I've been a big fan for quite a few years my first films I saw was Lucio Fulci's Zombie and The New York Ripper and Demons was another one I had on VHS and I've loved Italian horror since I saw those first movies but I must admit there are still ones I haven't seen

Loving the show! Christian, were you singing all three intro songs? Pretty sure it was you. Sounded great man! My intro Giallo film was Tenebre...hit the ground running and never stopping 😉👍

Christian, thanks for showing Demons 2 some love! I don't understand the lukewarm response it always gets from fans. Granted, it might not match the novelty of the first film, but it's still a good sequel and a solid movie on its own. Personally, I've always preferred the alt. rock, dark wave soundtrack in Demons 2 to the raucous hair metal of the original. It gives the sequel a moodier tone and more ethereal atmosphere. Plus, "Rain" by The Cult kills it during Sally's demon transformation!

Dude tell me about, anything that involves the cult has to be a winner for me. Demons 2 is a great horror comedy.

Dude I know probably everyone has seen the majority of movies that u mention but a beginners guide to 80s horror or slashers would be cool to just hear I know I could use one for the 90s

I loved this episode. One thing I gotta point out though is that Man from Deep River (1972) that was mentioned earlier as the first Italian cannibal film, it was actually directed by Umberto Lenzi, not Ruggero Deodato. Lenzi was the filmmaker who made the most within that sub genre, including Eaten Alive! and Cannibal Ferox. Btw Cannibal Holocaust is a fucking masterpiece.

Great show gentlemen! Italian cinema is definitely my favorite of non-American filmmaking. Between Giallos and Spaghetti Westerns, I've really taken to it like no other. Also Christian, I love "Torso" and I first watched it on Tubi, but I will say after buying it on bluray, I love it more. 😂

I was always intimidated by Italian horror cause I'm not big on subtitles but I decided to dip my toe in it with the beyond few months back and it became one of my favorite horror movies and because of that I got zombie , city of the living dead , house by the cemetery , deep red , cats o nine , phenomena. Now I can say I love Italian horror. I'm looking forward to watching more. So far I'm definitely a fulci guy.
