Thank you so much for doing this walkthrough of your process 😊 It’s very eye-opening even for someone like me who doesn’t do 3D art. I liked the process a lot. I am curious about something though. What file format are you using for the assets? It seems to work seamlessly in various 3D software, which is interesting.

Guys, i know that it's not the right context to ask but it is possibile to recreate a scene from a movie or a tv show in blender without getting copyright?
@Tokyodb12 күн бұрын
Should be okay in the US (it’s a “derivative work”) as long as you don’t recreate anything too similar to something specifically under copyright like a famous character. So… don’t recreate Mickey Mouse, Batman, Spider-Man, Hello Kitty, Super Mario, etc. Generally you can recreate/reuse anything it in a limited way (music samples are okay for up to 3 seconds, I think?) under “fair use” laws, but Nintendo and Disney tend to be extremely territorial about their content. Put your own spin on it and you should be fine for most things - especially environments and scenes.

@Tokyodb So recrating almost the same scene/character is copyright even if i dosen't monetize the video or put a disclaimer? I'm from the EU btw
@Nipah.Auauau12 күн бұрын
@@Mark001real attempting to monetize or claim rights over it will cause legal issues. Just doing it for funzies isn't an issue.

@enricobersani8948 800$/ year for these two, per year. I'd sail the sea if I can find a gold treasure. But I guess I stick with blender and unreal. It can fo it all. For 0. This is more like an ad or a product placement

@@enricobersani8948exactly! IMO, pirating is fine until you start working for big companies, and even then, they’ll usually provide the software. You shouldn’t have to pay hundreds to thousands on dollars to enjoy a hobby
