I grow a few weeds in pot,s , i like them !! When i prune them , they grow back tiny ' bonsai ' leaves 🌱✂

I allow some weeds to grow if they have nice flowers, I have plenty of poppies in my garden which self seed every where.

thanks only problem weed i have is bindweed iv been pulling it for over 10yrs and its growing in the hedge so make it harder

Bind weed is difficult to fully eradicate, its roots are deep but brittle so its very hard to dig out. Its especially difficult when in a hedge as you can't easily use weed killer and you can't easily get to its roots. Your best just constantly pulling it out as soon as it appears and spot treating it with weed killer when you can. You might never eradicate it in a hedge, but you can keep it small and under control.

What tool do you use to remove grass? And does a flat-side shovel (garden spade) can speed it up?

I use a garden spade and a fork, cut the grass into small manageable square sections using the spade, a foot or less across, then dig out each small section with the fork and use the fork to knock out as much soil as you can, I do it in this video at: 10:40 and 10:12 . If its lawn turf you can either use a turf cutting spade, or if its a large area you can hire a turf cutting machine.
