I use the exact same knot on all my rigs. Quick, easy, & effective. Can't wait to try this float & egg setup. I think I'll buy the gold label & pink shrimp first.

A note on the float. If the stem is hollow you can set it up as a slip bobber. I do this for crappie fishing.

I use those water filled floats to toss flies with spinning gear

Honestly the floats aren't that good. The slot in it is much too wide and makes the float drift wrong and sink to far. I tried both with and without split shot. I switched back to trout magnet floats in the same trip and had no problems.

Hi Alex, The size floats we have are designed for small streams. In those areas they work perfect, always with a small BB or smaller split shot.
