This is thee most amazing villa EVER !!! Another great walk-through was done by Stephanie and Philip on their channel "Chateau Diaries" and I was hooked and enthralled! Your coverage is excellent and I especially enjoyed the closing with the Before and After images! This gentleman/builder had a fantastic vision no doubt aided by his opium habits. Colors on the floor via the stained glass are magnificent. I must come and see it for myself! Thank you!

Wow, That is a style I adore. What a gift to the world left by the creators and restorers and those that funded it. 🙏

I deleted my offensive comment..I was referring to a male who committed a hate crime. He pushed a white gentleman off a train platform two days ago in NYC. In no.way did I mean to relay my anger toward this awesome documentary. Thanks to this wonderful gem, I feel RENEWED and full of love and beauty. Thst is whst Art Nouvau means to me!

Really nice documentary of a part of Art Nouveau that was thus far unknown. Will visit next time I am in the south of France!

Very interesting. I’m familiar with the art nouveau “greatest hits,” but have never heard of Chateau Laurens - fantastic. I hope I get to see it in person.

Fascinatingly beautiful! The overly flowery decoration of every surface is dizzying! And in answer what others commented, the sound quality was not a problem for me.

Superbe!! What a Glorious house build by a very intriguing man. By the way, I had no problem at all with hearing your voice, oke, maybe a little “echo”, but I prefer that to all the AI voice overs you hear these says Again 🦋🙏🏽🦋

Her Mic is on the camera so room acoustics are " echoing "

curious audio quality -- why does she have an echo? sounds like she was in a cave instead of that room.

So where did all of this indulgent wealth all come from? Perhaps French Colonialism? Perhaps the Roman Catholic Doctrine Of Discovery? "What's yours in now ours." 💙
@ottaviacasagrande442918 сағат бұрын
Apparently, the distant cousin Emanuel inherited from was an engineer not directly linked to colonialism. He built mainly public buildings in France. But then, where the public money came from it's hard to trace....
