Thanks Conner and Nigel!!! The tour was wonderful and it kept me smiling until the end! I do miss the pool though. It seems your trees have more than tolerated and survived their move and aren’t making too much of a fuss. Look forward, Connor, to your winter update and how you are overwintering all your trees, keeping them watered and alive, and new bonsai technologies, hacks and innovations, tour. 🌿🌿🌿 Johnye

YES! I was gonna ask the other day during a premier when Connor's next bench tour was. I think about Connor's barberry tree (the one that looks like an old apple tree) more than a healthy person should think about any tree lmao. Good to see you guys nerding out together.

Wow! What a collection. Looking forward to parts 2,3 and 4. The plant that was referred to as a "Pitcher plant" is a Bromeliad. Pineapples are in that family of plants, I believe.

A Natal Plum that is old and established like that one can be totally defoliated, and even cut back to old wood and it WILL bud back on old wood. I have one I've been growing for the last 15 years from cutting and have done this several times through it's life. It's necessary to keep the plant compact!

That red leaved Oxalis "clover" might be something to keep in check. Some of these species are quite good at dispersing seeds far aways and everywhere. They look nice but seen some gardens where they pop up just over the place 😁 About ficus religiosa vs rumphii found this feature description on the web. : "Ficus religiosa has a narrow and long leaf tip while Ficus rumphii has a pointed but short leaf tip" but I am not the expert.. Very nice tour, enjoyed it very much and envy Connor's watering system.

Those "pitcher plants" are actually Bromeliad. I'm watching out of order because I caught a premier! Connor sure does some nifty things with his trees. The Mall ficus, oh my goodness!

Have you or Connor tried Feather Stone? Easy drill under water to make a nice pot or root over rock. Very porous. Under water drilling, because the dust is like fine glass since this is a pumice stone. Entirely different from Lava rock. Hard to find for me. I treat it like gold when I get one.

Did connor move? Or is the pool filled up. Oh and connor should keep an eye on that red clover, that grows everywhere here, they get seed pods that spring open and before you know it, its everywhere. They are pretty though

Ficus rumphii and ficus religiosa are 2 different species but common people mixes them n creates confusion these are the people with less knowledge n vision who cant differenciat 2. Religiosa is a tree with long leaf tail n shiney lesves the tree is auspicious n holy for hindus n budhdhists. Rumphii has no long leaf tail n leaves are non shiney.
