A Bengali artist speaks about his paintings and the inspirations he got for his paintings, he said that he was painting from 1962 and he mostly paints the city Kolkata with the village near to it. He draws the painting of Goddess Durga and says that every year he paints the Goddess and the process of immersion of Goddess to showcase the present situation of women in India.
He adds that people of Kolkata are art lovers, they respect the art and the artists but earlier they don't buy paintings bu now they have started to buy the paintings.

@@vidushaka4877 I think his objection is to the fact that he is being referred to, as just 'a Bengali artist' . Bikash Bhattacharya is really well known and is a very accomplished artist. Its like referring Amitabh Bacchan as 'a hindi actor'....
