I'm kinda weepy this morning. True confession: I'm not Amish, but I was so afraid of my mother's response to my getting pregnant out of wedlock, that I didn't tell her.... my mother never lied, so when she jokes with friends saying, "if she ever gets pregnant, I'll kill her," my 16 year old brain believed it. My plan was similar to Wilma's. I was going to leave in the night, go have the baby, sign over my rights and return the next day or the day after. If be in trouble to sneaking or, but that would pass. But I went into labor and I underestimated just how hard it would be to walk to the busstop between contractions. 🥰 My dear blessed mother was awakened by my belated confession, "Mommy, I think I'm having a baby". By the time we returned from the hospital, my room has been transformed into the most beautiful, delicate, nursery. And we BOTH survived.... and she forgave me (instead of killing me). Mothers, watch how you talk to your girls. Some of the venomous digs the mothers make to their daughters in this series are so spot-on to my upbringing.

Fantastic series. I am a first time listener to your books. You truly are wonderful writer. You bring these caricatures to life. And I found my self catering about them and loving the story’s. I loved hearing about Wilma’s story. But I was hoping that this book would have been about what happens with Florins and her neighbor. At the end of the third book we got a moment of them kissing. But left not know what happened. Are you going to wright a book letting us know what happened with Florins? Please do! 😊
