Went to play strategy BUT it was a $15 table...I didn't put enough on money in the Come and Odds..instead of $30 Come and $45 odds (2 x 3 x) I bet $25 Come and $35 odds.....went all the way around the table and won $270.00....should have won more but the $15 threw me off......I really like hedging ...takes away so much risk!! Thanks for this!!!

Pass, don't pass, 6/8 bets, Horn, I always lose. Tried all strategies. Only win on all small or all tall otherwise it would be full bankroll lose. If I don't get all small/tall then I do lose it all.

I just started playing, my favorite come out is pass, all hop 7s , and seven 4:1. On a live virtual table I got paid roughly 65 pay on a $10 pass I think it was. It pays your bet back as well. Sometimes I'll mark the eleven as well. I'll dollar all hards and minimum all bets. I don't like to press as I only go with $100 most of the time

I bet Pass when I shoot and Don't Pass on random rollers, but hammered once when two random rollers in a row made point number 4 when I had max bet/odds on it, then another time I was only placing bets and lost a 4 Lay bet on a shooter setting dice.

I don’t understand why you would place the odds in the first place, if you put $90 on don’t, instead of $30 and $60 odds, if you win on the $90 don’t bet you get even money, but with the odds bet and don’t combined you only make $60, I’d rather make $90 lose $90 than make $60 lose $90, or am I getting something wrong?

$90 bet starts off as a 8:3 underdog. $30 bet is much less at risk. Then the $60 odds is added when bet is favored to win. Odds bet just pays true fair odds depending on how much your favored to win. $90 bettor carries house edge on full amount. The odds bettor only has house edge on the $30.

Yeah, that may be the best way to play, mathematically, but I’ve seen a lot of dark side players loose a handsome amount of cash chasing big red. It simply comes down to timing.

The 7 is always coming but when you’re a don’t player 1 hot shooter can kill you. However if you’re a passline player it would take a cold table to kill you. So if you play then don’t, you have to put a stop loss on each shooter. Ie 3 losses and then wait for next shooter

Very fair representation. While it seems you you were getting crushed using the strat continuously it wasn’t as bad a loss as it seemed during the roll out. I have been there on this type of set up. At some point intuition kicks in and I at least remove the lays, keeping the flats up. But that can/will lose as well.

Interesting that the Molly and Dolly don’t result in offsetting outcomes in ur quick roll out. I guess it’s odds aren’t really ‚balanced‘ per table rules ?

A hot shooter is just going to tank whatever winnings you had going on up to that point. Maybe just make 5 total losing point bets per shooter, or switch to the PL with odds on a shooter who knocks down 3 of your points.

Odd/s the worst beat in the casino,especially on the dark side risking more to win less.I never play or lay odds just my straight wager but im a low roller and have been busted laying odds so many times.

looking at the graphs shown in this video, only the Iron Cross has a constant curve (overall). I would say that would be the SocialMedia standard, although math doesn't lie, it only hurts.

Wait.. i thought the Don't Pass had a 1.36% house edge against the 1.41% Pass Line?

When house edge numbers are provided, its on a "per bet resolved" which in DP case is 1.4, you can also calculate the house edge with "per bet made" and then its 1.36%, but most common and all the house edge numbers we always see stated are on a "per bet resolved" case. more details here - wizardofodds.com/games/craps/appendix/2/

Do you ever put enough money on the hard ways to hedge it. Like in beginning of roll you rolled a hard 8 could have hedged it with hard ways. Just curious.

Certainly could. Not part of this particular system. And adds very high house edge bet to the mix. But in instances where they hit, you’d be glad you made the bet.

Shooting from the don't might get you the stink eye from light side players :) I'm curious how the don't with no odds would have stacked up. The mathematical rationalization for taking odds on a pass line bet is the odds bet being an "even" bet helps reduce the house advantage on the overall bet (flat+odds). Being the opposite, the don't pass flat bet has an advantage already once the point is set. It seems that laying odds would be giving the house the same benefit the Molly bettor is trying to take advantage of. I've not tried to sort out the math.

It works just like the 3 point molly or standard, the lay odds on darkside bet brings overall house edge edge down on total bet amount, but you are just fine with no odds, as whether max odds or no odds, you are subject to 1.4% of whatever is bet on the don't pass line. Lay odds, just makes it more volatile and with this roll, would have been better without odds because it was losing. if more 7s were rolling and it was a winning session the odds would have pushed it more in the positive win

Best to not Lay Odds. You already have the advantage why give it back. You may not win big but long term you will win overall. The losses do not come anywhere close to the winnings. Also good practice to learn bank roll management and to not go on TILT.

It doesn’t “give the advantage back” it’s simply an additional bet that gets paid true fair odds on a bet you are favored to win. Long term, it doesn’t matter whether you add odds or not, your expected loss is the same. But if you want to bet additional money, odds is a great additional bet, as it’s the only time the casino doesn’t take a cut out if winnings.

​@Arthur-gu8lx for a DC bet, odds you lay are always active unless you take them down. You want them on so that a come out 7 pays the full payout, DC plus odds. A Come bet is opposite on the come out with odds off unless you saying "working".

I just don't like this strategy, though I know all of them are dependent on the dice, this one feel like one to avoid. Each point you add you essentially make the 7 less likely compared to your 3 numbers. If you got the 4, 6 and 10 for example you have many more combinations to make you lose than the odds of hitting a 7.

You’re technically right, the difference here is that only one bet gets taken down, so overall it looks like it would work about the same overall, I’ve lost a bit with it though so I can agree it’s not perfect.

I had my odds on for don't come bets that were already establish for new come out. For the don't pass, you can't add lay odds, until a point is established.

Kindly play at an empty table or go play by yourself at the bubble machine. Players are going to not like you and give weird looks. Consider playing with the shooter at the table.

The table i was playing at, this happened a year ago, there was a guy that put down bets on the DP during a hot streak roll, and the shooter would not throw unless he left or changed his bet. Don't like that guy and bet the DP when at a full table. Go play alone.
