Thank you for sharing your heart, Anna. We want to encourage you that there is no striving in the love of God. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV) 28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Any thought, mindset, or perspective that tells us it is hard to receive from God, hard to know Him and hear Him, or hard to have our prayers answered is not from God. Receiving from God is not a sum of good works, confessed sins, and quoted scriptures. Receiving from God flows from our relationship with the Father. It flows from a confidence in His love and a revelation of His truth. We must never let the enemy talk us out of our confidence in the Father's love, and we must never let our experiences speak louder to us than truth. We pray that you are being filled with a fresh revelation of God's heart for you as you quiet your heart to receive from Him! He is pleased with you, proud of you, and He is the lifter of your head. Jesus, thank You for the finished work of the cross! We praise You that we don't have to strain and strive to receive from You. We simply to pray, believe we have received, and rest (Mark 11:24, Hebrews 4:11). Holy Spirit, help Anna receive a deeper revelation of the Father's love for her, and His desire for her to simply receive what Jesus already did. In Jesus' name, we believe. Amen!
