A Better Way to Share Project Files - After Effects

In this Quick Tip After Effects motion graphic tutorial we are going to be taking a look at how to collect files via the collect dependencies feature within After Effects. Essentially what it does is collects all of the project file data and project file reference files in a single folder making it easy to share project files.

Adobe After Effects 2018 (AE 2018) is a digital visual effects, motion graphics, and compositing application developed by Adobe Systems and used in the post-production process of film making and television production. Among other things, After Effects can be used for keying, tracking, compositing and animation. It also functions as a very basic non-linear editor, audio editor and media transcoder.
CINEMA 4D is a 3D modeling, animation, motion graphic and rendering application developed by MAXON Computer GmbH in Germany. It is capable of procedural and polygonal/subd modeling, animating, lighting, texturing, rendering, and common features found in 3D modelling applications.

Say i have sapphire plugins involved in a video. If i just want to final export on a buddies pc, will my effects still show up in the render if i do this? EVEN if my buddy doesnt have my sapphire plugins on his pc? I was rendering on mine, but my gpu had failed for some reason.

I dont get it. The path that ae takes to locate the files is still the same as in my other comupter, meaning the files cant be located on this comupter (since it's a mac to windos transfer)

nat this is late but it depends on what version of ae you have. for example ae cc 19 can work for any other ae except for aecs6

i had a question, I recently shared a project file with someone and I collected all the files but when I shared it with them they said that it had that tv like signal meaning that the pictures I used weren’t present in the project file do you know why that happened?
