I hate how series don't do well on youtube anymore, I'd love to see more of this so much you have no idea. Sure, someone else will probably make videos on this game as well, but Chelle has an unreplaceable vibe that works so well with this game that it just won't feel the same.

Thank you so much! Wander and I typically do not record full games anymore, especially narrative games (since it could disincentivize folks from playing the games themselves). I do play a number of narrative games for first impressions, though, and Wander and I recorded a number of older series to completion if you are interested in seeing those! As for The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood, I am definitely going to play the rest on my own time and then write a formal review. And catalogue the cards I made along the way, of course! Once again, thank you! -Chelle

This game is so gorgeous! My favorite classical element is definitely fire. Sure, it can destroy, but it can also temper and transform.

Great point about fire! It is used in steam engines, ceramics, glasswork, and metallurgy etc. So much of what propelled humans forward in the fabrication of materials required immense heat. Transforming solids to liquids, and liquids to gases as well! -Chelle

9:04 her leader didn't send her there to stop it. Her leader already accepted that her coven will fall. She's on the mindset of everything isn't forever so it will eventually fall apart. Her leader was probably also upset that she went talking everyone else is still there just talkin to her. Her telling future and telling everyone is going to fall apart only brings despair to people instead of them being blissfully unaware. It seems like her futures solid and can't be change or avoided. Maybe even heard telling that future is the main reason why it's fall apart. Sometimes prophecies don't happen until someone hears the the prophecy. Her leader was saying she was relying on her power too much and may been having made self-inflicting prophecies. Also it could be that she was worried about her usurping her power. I hope you play more of this game I like your commentary.

What a beautiful and creative game. Answering your question, I have always been more attuned to the water energies as a witch and card reader myself. I have always been tuned in to the emotional waters and the depths that few wish to mention. Cards help me find and provide language for others on what they are feeling and where it originated that way others can better understand themselves and possibly heal. This game may even be a great platform for genuinely crafting or at least inspiring some amazing creations! Thank you for showing us this game!!

This one was fun! I really liked the design Chell did for the cards, especially Nirvana and Toxicity. The game looks very intresting, I like the idea of mix-and-matching cards… eitherway, I love these reviews of smaller more story-based games. I hope they keep up!

you want to know everyone's favorite element? hmm, that is tough to decide. i like all of them in some way. water is probably my least favorite. while i like rain sounds and long baths and even have fish as pets, i can't swim well at all. well, breaststroke at least. i'm so bad that i actually managed to swim backwards while trying to swim forward... yes, seriously. wind has for me the meanings of freedom, speed, sound and energy. i have kept open for myself the most freedom i can have, even if that came at the cost of never having any deeper relationships. though that had never really had any greater meaning or importance for me anyways. as for speed and sound, they have no deeper connection with me. i never got my drivers license, so i never felt the need for speed and i only learned to enjoy music and actually feel the conveyed emotions a few years ago. before then i would work and read in total silence. and for making music, in 10th grade my music teacher kinda made me dislike singing, so i have everything i need to make music except the drive to actually want to do it, and without practice i won't get to the point where music is fun, so yeah... it's not gonna happen. as for energy, i mean that in both the physical and metaphorical sense. i like feeling the power of strong winds, getting pushed back and having to fight against it is a nice thrill. and energy also means having the energy to act. i like spending my time with children and their seemingly endless energy is contagious, to a point. fire means aggressiveness to me, as well as a source of motivation. want to compete with someone? just make them angry and the convincing may get a lot easier. fire has also the traits of light, heat and change for me. light and heat are obvious so don't need get deeper for them. and change is simple to understand too, from wood to ash, from ore to metal, from raw ingredients to a finished meal. fire stands for a forced change for me. well, in a bad way, i recently discovered my talent for cooking and it unexpectedly helped me grow in many ways. though on the other hand, i don't like being sweaty and prefer winter over summer. you can put on any number of extra clothes if you are cold but you can't do the opposite on hot summer days. earth is something i have a bit of a love-hate relationship with. i like the produce of the earth, with our homegrown veggies being the best on our local market. the problem lies in the effort needed to get to that point. this year i helped for well over two hundred hours worth of plant related work, which is enough to be a mini-job. and last year when i helped with the tomato harvest in the mayor ripening time, i sometimes spend 15 hours in two days just plucking tomatoes all day. at 30+°C, with strong sunshine, while in a greenhouse with bad airflow and therefore high humidity.... it was a tomato-hell 🥵 i didn't stop after those 15 hours because i finished harvesting, no it was because we actually ran out of crates to put the tomatoes in! the things we cooked with the leftovers from the market were really tasty though~ besides plants there are other things earth has to offer too. i like crystals a lot and magnets have also been of interest for me for ages. ...what was the original question again? right, favorite element. let's go with fire and a close second for earth.

When KZbin finally showed me this, it was early evening. The commentary and knowledge kept me intrigued, but the combination of the music and the sound of Chelle's voice just took me to sleep well before I had intended. I've now had the last half played 4 times more and the forth time I made it through without the mellow combination winning me over to sleep again. I cannot express how much I enjoyed this video, the game really meshed with Chelle and her commentary throughout! The elements: Water is the natural solvent that can mix with air, break down earth and smother fire. Air is the medium of temperature, it can freeze water, crack the earth and give life to or blow out fire Earth is the solids, it can swallow water, stand firm against air and improve with or snuff out fire. Fire is the chemical reactions, it can boil off water, melt the earth and consume air. Each element can defeat the others but can also be defeated by the others. They coexist in equilibrium and gets conquered by the others if one try to take over. In the middle is life, ever dependant on the elements and cannot survive with a surplus of any of them. Picking a favorite is hard, because they all have beauty, good and bad in them. I like finding the treasures of earth, seeing the majesty of air, enjoy the fruits of controlling fire and existing with water in any shape or form. The equilibrium is my favorite, so neither are in excess or in need for existence. Thank you both for this video, it's the best one I've seen in as long as I can remember, you are both exceptional in your crafts and I cannot wait to see more from you soon.

I like the descriptions of the four elements. Whenever I read fantasy with these four elements its different and so I was always a bit curious about how their relationship is supposed to be. In fantasy (that I read) it's usually: Water: Puts out fire, a little healing, makes ice. Forgotten often until one character is styled "I'm really good at water and can make big waves!" Ice: Freezes everything, one of the most common elements, used in battle. Fire: One of the most common elements, burns stuff, lights stuff on fire, explosions, battle. Air: Puts out fire, helps fire when from a friend, wind blades, flying, vacuums. Earth: Tough, tough, tough, metal when remembered, gravity, tough, sand. Light (It's fantasy): Heals, harms undead a lot, makes light, 50-50 between being another element or a part of a church, is good. Dark: Bad, evil, shadows, demons, blood, all the spooky stuff. I never really felt a consistent interaction between the elements in most novels, with the interaction sometimes feeling as an explanation for why the main character is fine and can beat up the bad guys. Some novels did it pretty good though. I also read eastern fantasy a bit and always liked the 5 elements, fire, metal, wood, earth, and water over the four elements because the interactions between them were always fixed and it always felt like it was more clean-cut between what is what, though that may be due to how eastern fantasy is. You can look up the relationship for the five elements online, its quite long.

Loove Chelle's ramblings and thoughts on this game. It's almost as having a discussion on Philosophy/mysticism with a friend ♡. I'm also share most of your feelings on the elements. Air and Water always amused me, but I think I might rank Fire over Earth as Fire does have association with Life and Warmth and Earth can be dull/stagnation (even if Earth is also used a lot for Life and stability). This game feels like the kind of project someone feels is never truly finished. I could imagine myself wanting to add dialogue lines and options for card designs/meanings and driving myself insane in the meantime. Hahah. Surprised you chose to sacrifice the coven over your own immortality (as immortality always feels like it sucks...)

Abramar's entire character seemed wrong to me. I understand that he has his own feelings and is not like the typical idea of eldritch beings (or whatever else they're called) which makes the story better, but it still feels very wrong to me. It's probably just because I am reading a book and it has a heavy occult feeling about how ignorance is bliss and powerful being shattering your mind. (It's called Lord of the Mysteries if you want to read it. Just make sure the lights are on, doors closed, and the sun up.)
