I've been making my own set of foil gear now for over a year out of carbon. I clicked on this video because my front wing attachment resembled this system and I had no Idea there was a similar design. Stoked to see the reasoning and set up. I've got all marine stainless bolts and wanted to have cheap easy to get replacement parts for the joints. My system may be a little stouter than any I've seen but I've built them for the price of one new set and I have many wings and fuselages and masts . Haven't got out there yet but it sure is fun making it all up. I've learned a lot about the process and am quite confident it all will work. Aloha ~
