I see some comments about the Ottoman Empire needing to be a part of the 7 heads. I strongly disagree. I think the point is that no empire could control Israel after 70ad, because Israel wasn't a nation again until 1948. If you are going to include nations that just controlled the land of Israel, but not the nation, then why not include the British Empire and a few others? The Ottoman Idea as far as I can tell gained popularity with the Islamic Antichrist theory, If you want to hear me discuss the theories of Joel Richardson and Walid Shoebat, you are in luck, I wrote an entire book debunking the idea (for free) here: bibleprophecytext.com/books/islamic-antichrist-debunked/
@loksterization3 жыл бұрын
I agree with you that Mystery Babylon is Jerusalem, not Rome or Islam. But the Beast on which Babylon is sitting appears likely to be Islam. I think Walid Shoebat is correct about the Mark of the Beast. I did read your refutation but wasn't convinced. However, as I said, I agree with a lot you are saying.

Did the nation of Israel exist at the time of Egypt kingdom, and was Jerusalem their capital ? No ! However, you consider Egypt as the first kingdom, and you have right about that. During Ottoman Empire, the seventh kingdom, Jews were living in Israel and in Jerusalem. The Holies Scriptures contradict your theory, cause the Scriptures confirm that the revived empire is Babylon, the eight kingdom, who was and is not (Revelation 17.8-11), as Nabuchodonosor, the gold head, was a foreshadow of the islamic antichrist (Daniel 2 and 3). I saw at the time your debate in live with Joel Richardson, and he lose it about Jerusalem, cause it is the mysterious Babylon, and you lose it about the islamic shia antichrist, cause you don't understand Daniel 11.37, who talk about the patriarchs of the antichrist = Abraham, Ishmael, and Esaü = Arab people, and not of the patriarchs of the Jewish people = Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. As the Bible says, all Christians know partially, that's why we need each other to have a full knowledge, but some are very proud, and think to know everything, that's why they learn nothing...... Shalom

@@yeshuaisyhvhgodmadeflesh6258 There is only one thing I need to address this on a personal level. Look at the enemies the anti-christ take on. Historical enemies of Christians and Jews. He interrupts a system that is already persecuting Christians and likely fundamental Judaism. He will not fool any of us if he can not prove his lineage. Remember the whole idea behind his deception is to fool the elect were it possible. He is not here to deceive the lost. His deception would fall flat immediately declaring himself to be God and worshipped as such by the people who he most wants to buy his deception without a proper lineage.

Chris, at about 19m into this video you say that the bible is silent on whether the 10-part kingdom lasts a long time or not -- what about Revelation 17:10 which says that the kingdom that has not yet come must remain only a little while? That doesn't give us a specific time period, but it does seem to rule out a "long time" (probably not multiple generations long, unlike the earlier kingdoms).

My friend, Daniel's 70th week ended 2000 years ago. The covenant spoken of there is the New Covenant in the blood of Jesus, inaugurated. Also following from this, there is no scriptural backing for a 7-year tribulation. May God bless you.

@John 1:17 that's excellent, thank you very much for this insight!
@vitorherold3 жыл бұрын
You are correct. There is no scriptural backing for a 7-year tribulation. There is, instead, scriptural backing for a 3.5 half years period, aka The Great Tribulation. Not only the backing is massive, with many chapters from Daniel, Revelation and Matthew pointing to it, as you are FORCED to interpret as a literal period of 3.5 years, since it's also spokens as 1260 days, 42 months, a time times and half a time (a year 2 years and half year = 3.5 year), etc. Not only that, you are FORCED to understand this period as happening IMMEDIATLY before the second coming, as written in Matthew 24:29. You are playing the fool in here.
@loksterization3 жыл бұрын
@@vitorherold agreed with you about the 3.5 years, although the rapture occurs at the second coming of Christ, and is just after the tribulation.

If the kings set up a global government before the 70th week, how do you understand this Revelation 17:12-14 [12] And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received royal power, but they are to receive authority as kings for one hour, together with the beast. [13] These are of one mind, and they hand over their power and authority to the beast. [14] They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.” God bless

Looks like The Ottoman Empire is a Non-Factor in this mix.
@yeshuaisyhvhgodmadeflesh62583 жыл бұрын
I think the ottoman empire is the seventh, and that the revived empire is Babylon, which was and is not (Rev. 17.8-11), contrary to Rome, the sixth, who is (Revelation 17.10), and the eight kingdom come from the seven. Nabuchodonosor, the gold head, was a foreshadow of the antichrist, he destroyed the first temple and burned Jerusalem, as will do the antichrist (Revelation 17.16). All nations that will attack Israel are all muslims now, only a muslim antichrist along with the false Jewish mashiah = false prophet, will be able to permit the restoration of the abominable sacrifices and the building of the third temple where there are now mosques, that is why sunni muslim nations will oppose him = egypt, sudan, lybia, who will be conquered by the shia islamic antichrist coming from Assyria, called the king of Babylon. Like me Chris started there and ended up here with just a practical reading of scripture. My journey began at a very young age sneaking in to watch The Late Great Planet Earth. My life time study of eschatology and interest started there. It never seemed to match what I read and years of studying lead me to most of the same conclusions as Chris. The biggest proof of this being the most accurate interpretation is reading scripture as if it is true. It opens it up in a new way and brings a better understanding of all of it.

@davidhoward3811 ай бұрын
David, you are completely mistaken. If you watch the first 3 videos at least in this series, you will realise that each of those points that you state are not represented, are represented, but not necessarily in the way you want. The problem is that many Christians in the West, always refer to the overarching narrative that is prevalent in our churches. Chris does bring out some very important details; in that the events do not happen in a vacumm, nor do they occur similtaneously but are played out in real time. The main thrust of the arguement is that the world government is in play before the antichrist makes an appearance - this makes a lot of sense, and actually lays down down a proper framework that the antichrist takes advantage of. The popular, but not really accurate view, is that the rapture occurs first and acts as cataylyst to the rest of the events. This view is not biblically accurate, and seems untenable with the political flow of time - it takes time for things to happen, just as you see at the moment. Empires are pushing each other, ideolgies are in opposition and money wants more power. Chris's viewpoint comes with a massive warning - be careful not to be hoodwinked by popular eschatology, because it could be a trap. The whole world will see the second coming of Christ - it won't be secret, and those who are saved will be transformed and caught up (raptured) it's all about the timing!@@davidsteer1941
