is it possible that it is only an apparent resurrection, in that the image made by the false prophet is something like a clone and a fallen angel, like Apollyon, comes out of the bottomless pit and inhabits this image? remember that the beast and false prophet get thrown alive into the lake of fire, while every human must die once and then judgment, so they may not be human. that might be why he's the 8th, because it is not one of the 7 being resurrected, he is a totally different individual.

Because the God of all creation and the Bible does that. Its all throughout the Bible. The river Jordan is a perfect example. The jews had to 'cross' the river. And in order to do so they had to place the Ark of the covenant in the river so the waters would subside. This crossing of the river is 'symbolic' of Christ's victory to come at the Cross of calvary. Interestingly, it is possible that this was the same place in the river Jordan(from heaven) that Christ was baptized many years later by John.

@@jamesenewold8864 I really dont think your example works for my criticism, you gave an example of something physical happening that had symbolic meaning to it. I’m saying i think it makes no sense to say the book of revelation would flip flop in the matter of a few paragraphs or chapters. I dont think it makes sense to nitpick revelation and say oh over here this is all symbolic, and then right here this is all. Literal.. no, its either one or the other i doubt its both in the same book

This is the first time I have disliked one of your videos. You're way off here Chris. You know what it is to read out of or into the text. There is absolutely no reason to see the seven kings six of whom proceed the anti-crist as anything more or less than he is. He is a man. His actions raise them; mystery Babylon, up for a time. The other six are of like manor and did of like manor. If you can't see them in history then leave it alone, do not fill in the blanks by guessing. That's reading into the text. As for the reresection; I agree Satan couldn't and God could, but that alone is not a reason to say God did. The seventh becomes an eighth. Meaning the the one that died and the one that was raised are different. I would suggest Satan infills the body to animate it and that God allows him to do so. The question is what is more inline with the Character of God? If the text was a road map we could just read it but the text is a puzzle. The picture we work from is God seen in Yashua, the Kingdom, the nature of man. I would find it incredible if God raised the anti-christ.

@Patrick, I was totally with Chris until this point as well. I’m not sure I disagree because I am confused about the abyss part. Being that the AC comes out of this abyss implies a resurrection, yet… Seems to me that AI is used here to animate his body in some way maybe like what Elon Musk has in mind with his NeuraLink thing. John the apostle found it hard to put this all in words of the Greek language for what he was seeing because it was so beyond his comprehension, yet what we find in these verses is exactly what the Holy Spirit wanted written… so we wait and hopefully gain the wisdom that Daniel 12 promises for those that will shine like the stars ✨.

​@@Matt24_ I suggest a way for the seeming resurrection, and its not important that way should be correct the point is there is a way without God doing the resurrecting which is to hard to believe, except that it be the only option and its not. But I think Chris went south instead of north when he determined that the kings had to be kingdoms such as Rome or Egypt. That just will not work comfortably or logically with the text. Certainly these kings have a connection. Certainly that connection applies to the a-c. If the main aspect is that they are kingdoms that have ruled over Israel then the same would be true of the last coming kingdom and if so the antichrist cant be their king cant take the place of Christ cant fulfil his role in history. The view is just wrong. That is not like Chris. I hope he will reconsider his view here.
