Now, that was a big surprise when you called that Lincoln to you! Ha! You really made your point. I will use my Merlin app to call Marsh wrens out of the reeds if they don't come up after a few minutes. I don't overdo it, though. Just a few repeated songs are enough. One call I need to remember is the Sora. I heard one a few days ago at the viewing platform at Cosumnes R Preserve, but didn't recognize it until I used my app, guessing it was a Sora. Easily recognizable song and calls. I waited, but never saw it. Someone posted a picture of it (or another) a few days later. And looking at the sonogram recording is really helpful in the memory department for me (easier to remember it visually). Keep up the good work!

Thanks very much! I really couldn't believe that Lincoln's Sparrow showed up like that 😂 Sora do have fantastic vocalizations!!! Always a treat to hear!
