In Stockholm we recently had an exhibition of the Arctic and climate change that I went to. It was at the museum of natural history if I am remembering correctly. It's always interesting and gruesome to dig deeper into any topic connected to climate change. Thank you for that book tip.

Powder Mage is so good. Still need to continue on and actually buy the third book. I only have one and two. The first book is a political, flintlock fantasy inspired heavily by the aftermath of the french revolution with a mystery element. Warning: the author basically throws you in and you have to figure it out as a you go and the beginning is very slow. Hope you had a lovely Birthday. We are b-day twins. Mine is tomorrow.

Question, what are your feelings about dark fantasy? Nothing too creepy I’m talking maybe some Neil Gaiman You probably get along with his middle grade stuff like Coraline and the graveyard book if you haven’t already Also, surprisingly Clive Barker does have a YA series called the Abarat and it’s a trilogy there’s some creepy stuff in there, but I think you can handle it 😮 Clive Barker did the illustrations and they are beautiful very much in the vein of Van Gogh

I’ve enjoyed Neil Gaiman in the past, and I suppose some of the fantasy I enjoy could be considered dark. I have read and enjoyed his MG stuff, but Neverwhere is my favourite of his. Abarat is actually my mums favourite book, she’s been trying to convince me to read it for years!!
