Me too! We must be on the same brain wave. My smokey eyes have always been a disaster. Using brown tones makes it easier but I really want that dark dark statement look and I always end up looking like I have a black eye or like I'm wearing gray eyeshadow! ✌️❤️

I tried beautiful look. I then had to take it all off and start again. I think my issue was not having a black eyeliner that refused to glide onto my lid, it scratched its way onto my lid 😬 I’m also very fair skinned, with light blue eyes, so I wasn’t expecting it to look anywhere near as nice. Your tutorials are always very straightforward, which I appreciate. Also showing that just because we turn 40, we don’t have to stick to nude looks - is appreciated! I will invest in a gel black liner and try it again. Hopefully I won’t need to do 100 concealer touch ups on my 3rd attempt, with black everywhere but my eyes 🫣 🖤

Love all your creations! With a close up demonstration like this I'd love to see a longer shot of your whole face at the end. The reason is this.. I can usually replicate the looks you demonstrate using my magnifying mirror, but sometimes when I sit back to look in my ordinary mirror, it doesn't look like I expected it to. Sometimes, I've done it perfectly but don't like the finished effect. And of course it's nice to see your whole face!
