A blast from the past, Olympus E520 from 2008

Today I'm testing out the Olympus E520 from 2008 and taking photos in the monochrome mode.

ISO 1600. Good idea. I've switched mostly to b+w. I think it often tells more than color. The 520 was my first DSLR. It's allready in my shelf. Need to go out with it. Thanks for bringing it back in mind... 👋😁

Having a dedicated black and white camera is something I've wanted to do for a long time so I just need to sort a good lens for it now. Glad you liked the video. Cheers.

I quite liked your out and about video! I guess your lens indeed has a small problem. I have that lens too and it has impressed for the quality it produces as a kit lens. A lens I would recommend for this camera is the 40-150mm f3.5-4.5. It is quite heavy and it has its flaws (long minimal focusing distance) but it produces very nice image quality and its pretty sharp. It is still relatively well available for reasonable prices.
